The Real Reason Kenya Moore And Marc Daly Haven't Divorced Yet

It looks like it's not totally over between Kenya Moore and her estranged husband Marc Daly. The Real Housewives of Atlanta star announced her intentions to divorce the father of her 2-year-old daughter, Brooklyn, in September 2019, but the mother has yet to go through on her word. However, during an appearance on the Dec. 13, 2020 episode of Watch What Happens Live, the beauty revealed that Marc did file for divorce, but he "withdrew it less than 24 hours later," adding, "So, we've kind of gotten past that."

While it appears that Marc may have cold feet about committing to their uncoupling, it appears Kenya may be having second thoughts as well. "We're still separated, and I have gone through the gamut of emotions from being happy, and happy to move on and to see what my life is going to be like in the next chapter, and then I go from that to being kind of sad," Kenya told Entertainment Tonight. "Looking at Brooklyn, looking and gazing into her father's eyes and seeing the love and knowing what an amazing family we had — and could we still have it," she said, adding, "just until recently things really shifted."

Marc Daly wants to work on his marriage to Kenya Moore

It's been over a year since Kenya Moore announced she and husband Marc Daly were dunzo, but it seems like it was a good thing she wasn't quick to draft the divorce papers. "Right now, Marc is really fighting for his marriage," the Real Housewives of Atlanta star told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live. "He wants to go to counseling. He's made appointments," she added. "He's asking to publicly apologize to me and a lot of things that I never thought I'd see the day."

Additionally, while speaking with Entertainment Tonight, Kenya revealed the pair was on good terms while celebrating their daughter's second birthday in November 2020. The RHOA beauty shared a series of family photos from the occasion to Instagram with the words, "Wishing everyone love and happiness."

Although Kenya and Marc seem to be patching up their relationship, at the time the pair separated in September 2019, she said they were splitting up, "Due to recent and ongoing circumstances." Of course, both parents said their main priority is their daughter, per People. "Our daughter has two parents that love her very much and in her best interests, this situation should remain as private as possible," Marc previously told the outlet. "I cherish our family's good times together and will continue to co-parent in a loving way."

There's no telling what will happen between Kenya and Marc, but it sounds like things are looking up!
