Everything We Know About Lisa Vanderpump's New Show

Lisa Vanderpump took her career as a reality star and restaurateur to new heights in 2021. She got her start on reality television as an OG housewife on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and she starred on the show for nine seasons before she made her exit. She had already secured her spin-off show prior to walking away from her Housewife role: Vanderpump Rules, a series about the staff at Vanderpump's West Hollywood hotspot SUR, premiered in 2013.

Long before she became a Bravo personality, Vanderpump had on-camera experience. She started as a child star, having played Julia Allessio in the 1973 film A Touch of Class, as noted by Lifetime. She also appeared in '80s music videos like ABC's "Poison Arrow," and then went on to act alongside David Hasselhoff in Baywatch Nights in 1995. After making her early earnings on screen, Vanderpump settled down with her husband Ken Todd in 1982, and the two embarked on an empire in restaurant ownership. Along with her eateries featured on Vanderpump Rules, "Vanderpump has owned more than 30 restaurants, bars and clubs in London and Los Angeles," as noted by Variety. With such a strong background in television and hospitality, Vanderpump's latest reality show was right up her alley.

It's time to get overserved with Lisa Vanderpump

In February 2021, E! unveiled the trailer for Lisa Vanderpump's new reality show Oversized With Lisa Vanderpump. The series, which is set to premiere on March 18, 2021, appears to be unlike any of her previous reality show appearances and doesn't involve as much shade throwing. In the preview, Vanderpump shares that she will be holding "an intimate dinner party" for a number of famous faces at her Beverly Hills mansion dubbed Villa Rosa.

The show follows the RHOBH alum as she spoils her famous friends with "an evening of cocktails, games and feasts," according to Variety. The outlet also noted that the themes will include "'Diva Tea,' 'Beverly Hills Comfort Food' and 'Ladies who Brunch.'" Some of the well-known guests include comedians Gabriel Iglesias and Sheryl Underwood, rapper Iggy Azalea, and Vanderpump Rules cast members James Kennedy and Lala Kent. The roster also features actors Jaleel White, Tori Spelling, Vivica A. Fox— the list goes on!

"You gotta bust your butt for the decor to be absolutely fabulous," Vanderpump dishes in the promo trailer. "The guests should be naughty but, the hostess most always be naughtier." Fans of the star can expect her to stay true to her Vanderpump brand and indulge her guests with nothing but the finest.
