Olivia Wilde Makes A Public Statement About Harry Styles

Olivia Wilde and Harry Styles have had a whirlwind romance to say the least. Their relationship has captured plenty of attention and has been hailed as an "unexpected romance." The pair met while on the set of the upcoming horror film Don't Worry Darling, which Wilde is directing and Styles is starring in, and things got pretty serious between them quickly. The two have caused quite a stir with the media as well, mainly due to their significant age gap and the fact that Wilde recently ended her engagement with actor Jason Sudeikis, with whom she shares two children (per People), after more than eight years of together.

The couple first sparked dating rumors when they were seen holding hands at a friend's wedding in early January 2021, per Entertainment Tonight. They were then seen getting cozy and showing PDA on various other occasions. A source told People that they spent a lot of time together on-set and off and that "their chemistry was very obvious."

While both Styles and Wilde have remained tight-lipped about their relationship, it is pretty obvious that they are very taken with each other and Wilde recently broke her silence to praise her new beau in a heartfelt post on Instagram. Olivia Wilde praised Harry Styles for his acting skills

Now that actress and director Olivia Wilde wrapped filming for her latest directorial endeavor, Don't Worry Darling, she's opening up about Harry Styles, star of the upcoming horror film. She had nothing but good things to say about all of the cast and crew on social media and wrote tributes to everyone for helping her vision come to life (per People). Wilde's tribute to her boyfriend Styles was especially touching, though, as it was also the first time she publicly mentioned him since dating rumors started to swirl.

Wilde posted a black-and-white picture of Styles sitting in a classic car to Instagram with the caption, "No joke, it is harrrrrd to find actors who recognize why it might be worth it to allow for a woman to hold the spotlight. Enter: @harrystyles, our 'Jack,'" Wilde wrote. "Not only did he relish the opportunity to allow for the brilliant @florencepugh to hold center stage as our 'Alice', but he infused every scene with a nuanced sense of humanity," she added. "He didn't have to join our circus, but he jumped on board with humility and grace, and blew us away every day with his talent, warmth, and ability to drive backwards."

Wilde clearly admires Styles as both a person and an actor — and her support and respect for him makes us ship this couple even more!
