How Kim Kardashian Really Feels About The End Of Her Marriage To Kanye West

No matter how hard you try, sometimes relationships don't work out — and it seems that Kim Kardashian understands this sentiment firsthand. After months of speculation, Kim officially filed for divorce from Kanye West on February 19, 2021, according to TMZ. The couple had been married for seven years and share four children: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

Kim and West have experienced a whirlwind decade together. In 2012, the duo started a low-key romance that soon became quite public when Kardashian announced her pregnancy at the end of the same year, according to Insider. By 2013, the couple welcomed their first daughter and got engaged. Finally, in 2014, Kim and West wed in a lavish Italian ceremony, confirming their spot as one of the hottest and most influential celebrity couples of all time.

Naturally, after such an intense courtship and wedding, many fans are devastated that the couple is divorcing. Although Kim and her famous family haven't made direct comments about the divorce, new reports about how the reality star supposedly feels about the split have surfaced — keep scrolling for more details.

Kim Kardashian reportedly wanted more from Kanye West

In the midst of her divorce, Kim Kardashian is focusing on her kids and relying on her family for support, according to People"Although Kim and Kanye have been separated for months, it was still emotional for Kim to actually file for divorce," a source explained to the publication. As for how Kim feels about the divorce, the insider also explained that Kim and Kanye West are supposedly keeping things civil. "There is no drama between Kim and Kanye. Kim is mostly just disappointed that they couldn't figure out how to stay married," they said.

Although every couple may have a unique reason for ending their marriage, apparently Kim and West just couldn't see eye-to-eye and get their marriage in a more stable place. "It takes two people to create a happy marriage," the source said. "Kim has felt Kanye is not willing to do the hard work and compromise." And many might agree that Kim hasn't put hard work into the marriage. From defending her husband in his 2016 "Famous" drama with Taylor Swift to more recently speaking out about his bipolar disorder diagnosis, Kim seemingly has had Kanye's back throughout the entirety of their marriage.

Though Kim and West may be divorcing, the duo have a long history together that fans won't likely forget anytime soon.
