Valery Kaufman started modeling at a young age
According to People, 48-year old Jared Leto has been "on and off" with 26-year old model Valery Kaufman for years, supposedly since 2015. As of September 2020, they seemingly are "on," with the two visiting a rock climbing gym.
Kaufman has modeled for high-profile brands like Tom Ford, Balmain, and Saint Laurent. She also appeared on the cover of Elle Russia, per Models.com. Kaufman even walked in the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show in both 2015 and 2016. A natural-born model, Kaufman had her sights set on the runway since she was a kid. "My sister and I used to do a lot of beauty contests during our childhood," Kaufman told i-D in 2014. "I didn't know how it was going to happen, but I always knew I would be doing acting or modeling." Moscow-born Kaufman made her New York Fashion Week debut in 2010 at age 15.
Although she hasn't ventured into acting just yet, Kaufman has walked the Cannes Film Festival red carpet multiple times, per Elle — yet never with Leto in tow. The couple prefers to keep their relationship under wraps, and neither has confirmed their romance to the press. With close to half a million Instagram followers as of this writing, perhaps Kaufman will spill the tea to her fans someday.
