RHOBH: Are Taylor Armstrong And Kyle Richards Still Friends?

It's hard to believe that it's already been eight years since we last saw Taylor Armstrong on The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. As fans know, Taylor was one of the Beverly Hills girl squad's original members, starring alongside Kyle Richards, Kim Richards, Lisa Vanderpump, Adrienne Maloof, and Camille Grammer, per IMDb. The series kicked off in 2010 and has seen a revolving door of cast members, while Kyle Richards has remained the only leading lady to appear in every season.

Taylor managed to stay on as a cast member for three seasons, and the mother-of-one recalled her "empowering" time on the series in a 2020 interview with The Daily Dish. The marriage troubles between herself and husband Russell Armstrong played out on the first season of the show. In July of 2011, Taylor filed for divorce, citing "irreconcilable differences," per TMZ. A month later, E! reported that Russell died of an apparent suicide at his home on Mulholland Drive. With the show's second season airing shortly after Russell's death, Taylor told The Daily Dish, "I was supportive of Season 2 airing, despite all that I was going through because I did want people to see what it was like, what I went through, so that they could also have hope that there was something on the other side."

Several of her friends from the show were there for Taylor in her time of need, and many still keep in touch today. Keep scrolling to find out who.

Inside Taylor Armstrong's relationships with Kyle Richards and the other Housewives

The relationships in Housewives franchises usually run deep, and despite the constant drama and bickering, most of the ladies genuinely care for one another. In a 2020 interview with The Daily Dish, Taylor Armstrong shared that she and most of the ladies from the cast regularly chat, even though she's moved to Orange County with her daughter, Kennedy Armstrong, and new husband, John Bluher

"The original six of us will always have a special bond," she said. "Probably more so for me because of all I was going through for those first few years of Housewives." In addition to "keep[ing] in touch via text or DMing," Taylor revealed that she "probably see[s] Lisa [Vanderpump] the most," and that she and Kyle Richards have also kept in close contact. "Kyle and I have been texting a lot through all the memes that have been out," she said.

Since moving from Beverly Hills to the OC, Taylor has also befriended a few of the ladies from past seasons of The Real Housewives of Orange County. "I see Gretchen Rossi on occasion. I was texting with Vicki Gunvalson, we were going to do lunch a couple of days ago," she explained. "I do see them. I run into quite a few of them."

It just goes to show — once a housewife, always a housewife.
