What Really Happened Between Nicole Scherzinger And Nick Cannon

Nicole Scherzinger and Nick Cannon both currently have successful careers on TV and have worked alongside one another. Starting in 2019, Scherzinger served as a panelist on Fox's The Masked Singer while Cannon hosted, per IMDb. Scherzinger currently remains on the panel on the hit show and has been guessing who is underneath the wild costumes with Robin Thicke, Ken Jeong, and Jenny McCarthy ever since Season 1. According to Hollywood Life, Cannon will not be hosting all of Season 5 due to testing positive for COVID-19. Comedian Niecy Nash stepped in to temporarily host.

The Masked Singer was by no means Scherzinger and Cannon's introduction to one another. In an interview on Power 106's Big Boy's Neighborhood in 2014, Cannon, who was previously married to music icon Mariah Carey, expressed that he had slept with other famous faces, per Entertainment Tonight. The former America's Got Talent host revealed he had history with Christina Milian, Kim Kardashian, and Scherzinger herself. When asked how many famous women he's been with, Cannon didn't give a specific number. "That's a lot! It's LA That's the whole purpose. You have sex with actresses, singers, models," he said.

Nicole Scherzinger and Nick Cannon were romantically linked in the late '90s

Nick Cannon and Nicole Scherzinger have been in a relationship with a number of high-profile celebrities throughout their careers, but one thing many people may not be aware of is that they apparently dated one another over 20 years ago, according to The Things. Reportedly, the duo formed a romance in 1999 and called it quits the following year.

During this time, Scherzinger was not a famous face. In 2001, she first debuted onto the music scene as a member of the short-lived girl group Eden's Crush, per Bustle. The "I Don't Need a Man" singer wouldn't start to become a household name around the world until the mid-2000s when she became the lead singer of the multi-platinum selling Pussycat Dolls. Cannon's career was on the come-up, as he was already starring in the popular sketch comedy television series All That and would soon appear in 2002's Men in Black II.

Scherzinger seemingly has never confirmed or denied her relationship with Cannon. However, a throwback cozy photo of the pair on the red carpet speaks for itself, per The Sun.
