Why Kelley Flanagan Isn't Talking To Peter Weber After Their Split
Bachelor alum Kelley Flanagan is opening up about where she stands with her former flame Peter Weber. The couple, who met on the 24th season of ABC's franchise, had a rather interesting relationship both on and off screen. Kelley competed for Peter's heart on The Bachelor, where it was revealed that the pair actually had met before the show started filming. They had an instant connection on the show — bonding over the fact that they met briefly before the season started. But as time went on, it appeared that Peter took things more seriously than Kelley and she was sent home before hometown dates.
Despite being dumped way before the final rose ceremony, Kelley and Peter had another shot at love together following filming. Both of Peter's season's finalists, Hannah Ann Sluss and Madison Prewett, did not end up with a happy ending. Instead, he backtracked to Kelley and they actually seemed like they would be another Bachelor success story. The pair even moved to New York City together. That is, until early 2021, when the couple announced that they were parting ways, twice. Once on New Year's Eve and then for the final time after Valentine's Day, according to People.

Kelley Flanagan says Peter Weber is 'a place in my past' following their split
In a March 2021 interview, Kelley Flanagan sat down with fellow Bachelor alum Kaitlyn Bristowe to chat about her split from Peter Weber. According to People, Kelley appeared on Kaitlyn's popular podcast, Off the Vine, where she got candid about what led to the breakup and where the exes stand now. She told Kaitlyn during the segment, "On my end, there were just a lot of non-negotiables in the relationship that they essentially were seeming to be worked on or saying that they were going to be worked on or changed, and actions kind of speak louder than words."
Kelley then went on to say that following their early 2021 split, Peter tried to talk things out and get back together. She revealed, "Then he essentially tried to, like, get back together and was trying to work on things and I was pretty, pretty hesitant towards all of it," she continued, "He's telling me like, 'I love you, I want to get back together with you.'"
It appears this back-and-forth with Peter is the reason Kelley has stopped talking to him. She further says, "I don't think I will be in communication with him." Adding, "It's a place in my past, I'm focusing on my future wishes. I don't think it was the healthiest thing for me to keep [my] past and [my] future and I wish him well."
