Prince Philip was released from the hospital after a month-long stay and a successful heart surgery for a pre-existing condition, according to BBC. The Duke of Edinburgh was "said to be in good spirits" as he arrived home. Since Philip was in the hospital, a lot has been going on. According to TMZ, Harry revealed that it was not his grandfather, nor his grandmother, Queen Elizabeth, that made the comments. Prince Philip may have spent the past month under the weather, but that doesn't mean he's been living under a rock. Royal commentator Katie Nicholl chatted with Australia's 9Honey about how much Philip knows about the interview, and how the royal family is going about sharing information with him. Of course, no one wants to stress him out after what he's just been through, so it's being done very carefully. "The family [is] very keen that he's not aware of the full extent of the interview," Nicholl told the outlet, adding that "efforts were made to protect him from the full force of the fallout."
Nicholl went on to say that while everyone is relieved that Philip has been released from the hospital, there is still a great deal of concern surrounding his health. "He did look very, very frail in the backseat," she explained, describing paparazzi photos of Philip's car ride home from the hospital. As of this writing, it is unknown if Prince Harry has spoken to his grandfather since he was released from King Edward VII hospital.
