What Kate Stoltz From Return To Amish Is Up To Now

When Breaking Amish premiered on the TLC Network in 2012, audiences were introduced to a group of young Amish people who were more than ready to explore the realities of the English world, away from the Amish culture they grew up in, per the network's official website. The hit show followed Abe and Rebecca Schmucker (who were married in Season 1), Sabrina Burkholder, Kate Stoltz, and Jeremiah Raber as they left their Amish upbringing (and wardrobe) for the hustle and bustle of New York City. At the end of the series, all five cast members chose to step away from the only life they had ever known for new opportunities.

The original cast members continued their journeys on Return to Amish, which premiered in 2014, but have since gone their separate ways. Some of them are better off than others, though — like Kate Stoltz. Keep scrolling to find out what she's up to now.

Kate Stoltz has a passion for fashion and philanthropy

Since leaving Return to Amish after the first season concluded in 2014, Kate Stoltz has distanced herself from the franchise and made a name for herself as a fashion designer. Kate started a fashion brand in New York City, where she is now based, and sells women's wear along with accessories and face masks. On her official website, Kate made no mention of her TLC roots, but instead boasted about her accomplishments, like how she was signed by one of New York City's top modeling agencies, has appeared in international magazines, walked in runway shows, and attended the prestigious Fashion Institute of Design (FIT) school in New York. She also interned for famed designers like Cynthia Rowley and worked as an assistant product designer for Jason Wu. Her website states that she's "dedicated to mastering the work" of fashion design.

In addition to her role as a fashion designer, Kate is also the CEO of the charity Developing Faces, per her Instagram. The charity is dedicated to providing facial surgical care for children and babies in developing countries. Kate is "involved in the daily operations of the organization," which includes, "organizing events, organizing meetings and helping to raise funds for upcoming missions," according to the charity's website.

All these accomplishments indicate that Kate has since been able to shed her shy girl demeanor and become a literal boss — all while using her influence for good.
