Who Meghan And Harry Just Hired To Run Their Production Company

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are moving full-steam ahead with the production aspect of their company Archewell. The Duke and Duchess of Sussex filed a trademark application back on March 10, 2020, according to Harper's Bazaar, just ahead of their big announcement: They had started their very own non-profit organization. At the time, Meghan and Harry shared the inspiration behind the name, which is a nod to their son, Archie — or, rather, it's how his name came to be. "Before [Harry and Meghan's website] SussexRoyal, came the idea of 'Arche' — the Greek word meaning 'source of action.' We connected to this concept for the charitable organization we hoped to build one day, and it became the inspiration for our son's name," the Duke and Duchess shared in a statement, per the outlet.

Archewell is dedicated to helping others. "Our core purpose is to uplift and unite communities — local and global, online and offline — one act of compassion at a time," the foundation's description its website reads, in part. Now that Archewell has been around for about a year, Meghan and Harry are ready to take it to new heights — and that means they've needed to shift things around and hire some new people to take on exciting roles within the organization.
