Reese Witherspoon has a lot to be proud of — not only is she an award-winning actor, but she's also a mother to three kids. Her daughter Ava, and her son, Deacon Phillippe, are from her previous marriage with actor Ryan Phillippe. The couple was married from 1999 to 2008. Witherspoon and Phillippe have been on the same page about why their divorce ended, citing their young ages as a driving factor, per InStyle.
Since the end of her marriage, Witherspoon found happiness again. In 2011, the Legally Blonde star married scouting agent Jim Toth. The couple met at a mutual friend's house party, where Toth helped Witherspoon avoid an uncomfortable situation. In an interview with Elle in 2012, Witherspoon recalled the moment she met Toth. "This really drunk guy was hitting on me, making such an idiot of himself, yelling at me," she shared. "Jim came over and said, 'Please excuse my friend. He's just broken up with someone.'" It was Toth's good deed that got Witherspoon's attention. "Jim was a really good friend, pulling him out of that situation. That's just kind of who he is, a really good person."
Based on Witherspoon's recent Instagram post, which paid tribute to her husband, it's clear she's still very much in love, and we can't help but swoon.

Where does the time go? It has been 10 years since Reese Witherspoon and Jim Toth tied the knot, and wow, can you believe it? We can't either. To celebrate her 10-year anniversary with her husband, Witherspoon took to her Instagram on March 26, 2021, to share an intimate throwback reminding us she's still very much in love. "Celebrating 10 years of marriage to my sweet hubby. What a special day with all of our dear friends. Looking back, I can't believe it has gone so quickly!" she wrote. "I guess that's how it goes with 3 kids, Big LOVE, lots of laughing, non-stop travel, so many dogs, and fun adventures... figuring out this crazy world together. Here's to many more days in the sun! I (heart emoji) you, JT."
In the same interview with Elle, the Wild actor recalled the moment she knew she'd give marriage a second chance. "Jim said, 'I'm gonna show you every day what a good partner is, what a good person is. I'm going to take care of you. I'm gonna do this so much that you're gonna get used to it.' I was like, 'What are you talking about?' I've never had anybody like that in my life," she shared.
One year after exchanging vows, they welcomed their first child, Tennessee Toth, in 2012. It seems like a decade hasn't phased them, and we can't wait to see all the adorable memories they'll make in the years to come.
