Amanda Seyfried's Stunning Oscars Outfit Has Everyone Talking

After spending the last year in quarantine during which celebrity interviews were often held over Zoom and stars got dressed up (or not) to hopefully receive an award from their own living rooms, Amanda Seyfried is taking it upon herself to make a statement this award show season.

Seyfried earned her first Golden Globe nomination in 2021, and she made sure she dressed to the nines even though she didn't walk a carpet — well, maybe one in her living room. The "Mank" actress wore a custom silk Oscar de la Renta coral-colored gown "embroidered with taffeta pressed flowers" to the 78th Golden Globe Awards, according to Oscar de la Renta's Instagram post about her look. Although she didn't win a trophy, she definitely won a spot on the best-dressed list for that night, as Twitter was gushing over her simple and elegant look. "Amanda seyfried at the 2021 golden globes. that's it. that's the tweet," one person gushed. "She looks lovely in this dress, idk who chooses her red carpet looks but they never seem to miss," another person wrote.

Fast forward two months, and Seyfried has done it again: Her stunning Oscars outfit has everyone talking. Here's what they have to say.

People are loving Amanda Seyfried in red

Amanda Seyfriend is also a first time Oscar-nominee in 2021 for her supporting role in "Mank," and even if she doesn't win the award, she will hopefully sleep well knowing she quite possibly won the red carpet. She walked the carpet at the 93rd Academy Awards in a "custom scarlet Giorgio Armani Privé strapless tulle ball gown" with a deep v neckline, according to People. She finished the look with a low bun completed with finger waves and a red lip to match.

The internet was blown away by her Old Hollywood look, with dozens of tweets describing her as "gorgeous" and even "breathtaking." One excited fan said, "I don't really care much about fashion but Amanda Seyfried is ROCKING that red dress. Yowzers!!!" Another fan claimed that Seyfried is the only one who looks nice on the entire red carpet. An additional fan of the actress ruled that she had won the entire night.

Even if she walks away without a trophy, it seems that Seyfried is simply thrilled to be at an event with people again. "I really can't believe we're around people right now," she said during E's Oscars pre-show (per People). "It's like the Twilight Zone. In a good way."
