The Truth About Carrie Ann Inaba's Love Life

Carrie Ann Inaba announced that she will be taking some time off from "The Talk" to focus on her health. Inaba's temporary departure from the CBS talk show comes just a month after Sharon Osbourne left the show over the controversy created when she stood up for Piers Morgan's remarks about Meghan Markle that led to an on-air row with Sheryl Underwood, per The Daily Mail.

Soon after the official announcement was made, Inaba took to Twitter to further explain. She wrote: "I have decided to take a leave of absence from @TheTalkCBS to focus on my health and well-being. I appreciate the support from you and my family at The Talk and hope to be back soon!"

Inaba has been open about the fact that she suffers from a number of conditions that cause chronic pain, including fibromyalgia, Daily Mail reports.

As Inaba takes time to rest and get her health back in order, we couldn't help but wonder if she'll have any help at home. Turns out she does! Inaba found love with Fabien Viteri, per Hello magazine.

Carrie Ann Inaba once dated fellow "DWTS" dancer Artem Chigvintsev after meeting on the set of "So You Think You Can Dance" in 2006, per Us Weekly. They dated for about three years. 

In 2009, Inaba met accountant Jesse Sloan on eHarmony. In 2011, while co-hosting "Live With Regis and Kelly," Sloan surprised her and proposed on live TV, E! reported. The couple planned to marry in the summer of 2011, per Us Weekly. In September 2012, the couple called off their engagement, per People.

Then, in 2016, Inaba announced her engagement to actor Robb Derringer after dating for a just a few months. In September 2017, they called it off, per People

Inaba recently found love with Fabien Viteri. The couple went public with their relationship in September 2020 when she posted a birthday message to him on Instagram, captioning the photo, "Happy birthday mi amor. Life is so much better with you in it."

A few weeks later, she revealed on "The Talk" that she met a man in her neighborhood while they were walking their dogs. Per Parade, she said, "... He's older than I am, and he's a wonderful human being. And now, I understand how a relationship can work. He's been so supportive and a mature adult 'cause maybe sometimes I'm not so that's working really well."
