Vanderpump Rules' Scheana Shay Announces Birth Of First Child

The Vanderpump family just got a little bigger. Well, not the actual Vanderpump family, but the "Vanderpump Rules" family. In fact, it's been a time for babies for the "Vanderpump" crew. After a rough Season 8, half the cast was fired, and the show was put on hiatus, which means that everyone's favorite waitstaff took some time to focus on themselves.

The baby boom started with Stassi Schroeder and hubby Beau Clark, who welcomed a daughter, Hartford Charlie Rose Clark, in March. The news was quickly followed by the birth of Lala Kent's child, Ocean Kent Emmett, her first, and the third for her husband, Randall Emmett. Next, Stassi's ex and occasional series villain Jax Taylor, and his wife, Britney Cartwright, welcomed a baby boy, Cruz Michael Cauchi, in April.

That leaves us with Scheana Shay, who was open about undergoing fertility treatments on "Pump Rules." After her divorce from husband Mike Shay, Sheana found herself in a series of crappy romances that didn't lead anywhere. Scheana found her one and only in boyfriend Brock Davies, but suffered a miscarriage in June 2020. Happily, she announced her pregnancy just a few months later. And now, Scheana just gave birth on April 26. Here's what we know.

Scheana Shay couldn't be happier

Scheana Shay was all smiles on April 27, 2020, when she announced the birth of her first child, a baby girl, with Brock Davies. This is Sean's first child, but Brock's third, according to Us Weekly. The pregnancy came three months after Scheana's miscarriage and was a complete surprise to the couple, but Scheana could barely wait to share the news of a safe delivery nine months later.

"My heart is SO FULL," she wrote on Instagram. "On the morning of 4/26/21 we welcomed to the world Summer Moon Honey Davies, weighing in at 6lbs 12 oz." Scheana then described her difficult labor and delivery, which lasted over 24 hours and necessitated a magnesium drip.

"Thank you to everyone who has reached out and sent their love and thank you to the amazing staff here at Cedars-Sinai," Scheana concluded. "We are definitely feeling all the feels and just so excited to be Summer's parents!!!"
