The Truth About HARDY's Relationship

If you listen to a lot of country music, or you just enjoy wearing cowboy boots, you probably know a thing or two about Hardy. That said, you might also be surprised to know that he's the mastermind behind hits like Blake Shelton's "God's Country" and LOCASH's "One Big Country Song," according to People.

Hardy put his musical talents to good use when he released his debut album, "A Rock" in September 2020. He dished about his songwriting process with Taste of Country. "You just find a way to say it, and sometimes it sounds cool," the musician explained. "There's just something about finding the internal rhymes and making sure you rhyme words within the line that makes a regular line sound a lot cooler."

On top of that, Hardy doesn't rush through songs. He even once went the extra mile to flesh out a chorus in a deer stand. For him, it's worth the time spent, "because that's the stuff that people remember and they gravitate to." Talk about dedication!

When Hardy isn't churning out hits in the studio, he's spending time with his girlfriend Caleigh Ryan. Keep reading for more details about their relationship.

Hardy's girlfriend Caleigh Ryan inspired his song "Boyfriend"

Hardy revealed that an argument with his girlfriend Caleigh Ryan during their Florida vacation was the inspiration behind his song "Boyfriend."

"We were in the pool, picking at each other about something — we're always picking at each other — and I said something like, 'Fine, I don't want to be your boyfriend anymore,'" he recalled to People. "Then she said something along the lines of, 'It better be because you want to be my husband' with a wink. I looked at her, and instead of turning that into a really sweet moment, I said, 'This is a great song!'"

When he finished the song and played it for her, she "loved it," but didn't refrain from sharing her opinion. "We've been together for over two years, so now she's my biggest critic," he said. "She's not going to hold back, and she's going to tell me if she loves it. But as always, she thought we nailed it."

As for their relationship, it seems like they could be walking down the aisle in the future. "I told her the longer she waits, the bigger the ring," Hardy continued. "But we're definitely talking about it. We're just waiting it out and are waiting to see what's going to happen to the world."
