The Truth About Lena Dunham's Boyfriend, Luis Felber

Lena Dunham has given some "Girls" advice to single fans across social media, advising them: "Don't quit before the miracle." The actor and writer took to Twitter on June 7 to shed some new light on her thoughts on "men."

"In January, all I Tweeted about was how men are basically refried beans in human form. What I'm saying is, don't quit before the miracle, kids," she wrote. The last time Dunham was in a relationship was with music producer/songwriter Jack Antonoff back in 2018, whom she met via a blind date, per People. The star had been as open about their love life as she was about their breakup, having previously told Domino that she and Antonoff found "a place where we could build a future" and a family.

Dunham told the publication she meticulously planned and decorated their Brooklyn Heights apartment while Antonoff was on tour — but when he returned, she said he "hated it." Dunham suggested their differences in interior design created tension, and led to their eventual breakup after five years. "The last time I saw that apartment was when we agreed, with love, that someone had to go. You can finally eat in the bed without anyone getting mad at you,' he said through tears."

Shortly thereafter, Antonoff moved on with his then 21-year-old collaborator, the musician, Lorde and later model and current girlfriend, Carlotta Kohl, per InStyle. But now it seems Dunham is able to enjoy meals from bed without her partner judging (how could anyone?!) as she told fans: "When I feel sick, my boyfriend makes delicious pasta."

Luis Felber is an English and Peruvian musician who lives in London

It seems like Lena Dunham has a thing for musicians. Dunham's latest crooner is English and Peruvian-raised singer/songwriter Luis Felber, according to Page Six. The publication claims Dunham has been dating the 32-year-old "for the past few months" after they met in London, where Dunham has been working on UK-based film projects. Felber, who goes by the professional name of Attawalpa (after the Incan King Atahualpa), has also been busy during the UK's lockdown, having recently released a music video for his new song, "Yellow Fingers."

Dunham teased her new beau's identity when she proudly shared the video — which sees an animated version of Attawalpa pole dance in green underwear — to her Instagram on May 25. With a heart emoji she wrote: "It's so special – and nice green 'knickers' my love, did not know those moves were in you." Dunham also plugged an interview he featured in for the "Lovely Radio Programme" on Twitter (per Page Six), where he revealed he got into the music biz to help his depression.

Dunham also told The New York Times in April that her "boyfriend" was "the greatest person I've ever met." She also expressed how "lucky" she was to be dating someone who also allows her to "borrow his hat and leather jacket." And proving she's won the relationship lottery, Dunham gloated on Twitter about his cooking skills and how he "rewatches as much BoJack as I want, walks the dog & makes up songs about her face."
