Inside Ana De Armas' Relationship With Paul Boukadakis

Not long before the start of the COVID-19 pandemic, Ben Affleck surprised everyone by coupling up with actor Ana de Armas. The two were often spotted looking adorably wholesome on dog walks in their Los Angeles neighborhoods, until January 2021 brought bad news for the couple. "Ben is no longer dating Ana ... She broke it off," a source told People, adding that "their relationship was complicated. Ana doesn't want to be Los Angeles-based and Ben obviously has to since his kids live in Los Angeles." Affleck took the split in stride by reconnecting with his former flame Jennifer Lopez, and things have been kismet ever since for Bennifer 2.0. But what about de Armas?

While Affleck has been making headlines for packing on the PDA with J.Lo, de Armas hasn't exactly been pining over her ex. The "Knives Out" star has been dating Tinder VP Paul Boukadakis since June after the pair met through mutual friends. "[Boukadakis] is based in Austin, but splits his time between Texas and Santa Monica. He has been spending a lot of time with Ana before she left the US to film her movie," an insider told Page Six. As of September, things are starting to look more serious for de Armas and Boukadakis, who stepped out in public together for the first time at JFK Airport. In honor of their budding romance, here's everything we know about the relationship so far.

Are Ana de Armas and Paul Boukadakis taking their relationship to the next level?

According to photos obtained by the Daily Mail, Ana de Armas was pictured for the first time with her rumored boyfriend Paul Boukadakis on September 19. The duo donned color-coordinating ensembles while strolling through JFK Airport, with de Armas wearing a pinstripe blazer, white shirt and black pants, and Boukadakis in a navy blue jacket, white shirt, and black pants. Is matching outfits a sign of true love? Maybe not, but it's certainly a step in the right direction! Another good sign is the fact that de Armas was spotted placing her hand on Boukadakis' back as they walked through security.

Per the Daily Mail, de Armas is prepping to promote the new Bond movie "No Time to Die," so perhaps the airport excursion hints that Boukadakis is supporting her on set. As Page Six notes, things between them started off so well that the tech exec had already introduced her to his family back in June — so jetting off to spend time together during filming seems like a major milestone. And interestingly, Boukadakis seems to have dabbled in the showbiz world himself! His IMDb page reveals that he's directed and produced several music videos, as well as commercials. Could this be a case of the couple that plays together, stays together?

What does Ben Affleck think of Ana de Armas' new boyfriend?

While Ana de Armas and Paul Boukadakis' airport sighting hints that they're spending more time together, the new couple have largely had to see how their relationship fares long distance. Back in April, the "Deep Water" actor stepped out with a mystery man (aka Boukadakis) to walk her dog and grab some coffee in the Hollywood Hills. Since then, she's flown to Mallorca to shoot her Netflix film, "The Gray Man," while Boukadakis has bounced back and forth between Los Angeles and Austin. Like his actor GF, Boukadakis' day job keeps him plenty busy. As the VP of Tinder, he's responsible for developing interactive content for the dating app. Previously, he served as the co-founder of a tech startup called Wheel, which acted as a social network for sharing video stories, according to Variety.

And now that de Armas and Boukadakis have made their first public outing, the question on everyone's minds is likely, what does Batman think? When de Armas and Affleck first broke up, a source told People that though the former love birds are in different places in life, "there is deep love and respect there." Since Affleck appears to be head over heels for J.Lo, one would hope that they have both happily moved on and wish each other the best. This is good news, especially because the exes are set to reunite on the press tour for "Deep Water," which hits theaters in January 2022.
