Jamie Foxx To Present, Bruno Mars To Perform At 2017 BET Awards
Get ready for a whole lot of star power at the 2017 BET Awards.
Several of the ceremony's presenters have been announced, and the lineup is looking good. Entertainment Tonight reports that Jamie Foxx and Issa Rae are the newest names attached to the big event.
Other presenters include Trevor Noah, Demetrius Shipp Jr., and the cast of the upcoming film Girls Trip—Queen Latifah, Jada Pinkett Smith, Regina Hall, and Tiffany Haddish.
According to Billboard, Migos, Bruno Mars, Future, Trey Songz, and Tamar Braxton are all scheduled to perform.
As Nicki Swift previously reported, SNL star Leslie Jones has signed on to host the awards show. "I just want everyone cracking up," the Ghostbusters actress said in a statement. "I want everyone leaving that event going, 'Wait, did they even give awards out? I was too busy laughing.'"
Jones also revealed plans to make the event feel like "a big 'ol nice barbecue, family reunion."
Few people seem friendlier or funnier than Jones, so we have no doubt that she'll achieve her goal.
The 2017 BET Awards airs live on June 25 at 8 p.m ET.
