What Happened To Patrick And Myriam From 90 Day Fiance?

Life brings plenty of ups and downs, especially given the personal relationships people develop along the way. On "90 Day Fiance" and its many spinoffs, couples find themselves in all sorts of situations — some good and some not-so-good. Patrick Cornett and Myriam Mana were part of the original cast of "90 Day Fiancé: Before the 90 Days," and certainly one of the franchise's more interesting couples.

So let's recap: It all started when American and father-of-two Patrick fell head over heels for French beauty Myriam. Despite not knowing anything about their relationship status or how she felt, Patrick headed to France to see her. Unfortunately for Patrick, Myriam had neglected to tell him that she already had a boyfriend. As expected, Patrick was none too happy about it, and his protective mother was even more upset. But some might argue Patrick overstepped in the situationship, and Myriam owed him nothing.

Although many couples from the "90 Day Fiancé" culture have a good set of ups and downs, some just exacerbate the problem with lies and half-truths that only serve to cause more problems than they solve. Patrick and Myriam proved they were no different, going on to ride the 90 Day Fiancé gravy train for a few more stops.

Patrick and Myriam gave the situationship another go

Patrick Cornett and Myriam Mana, who became instant stars on "90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days" Season 1 got off to one of the rockiest starts a couple on the show has ever had. After Patrick realized that Myriam was already in a relationship, he headed back home with only a tenuous friendship at best to boast about.

But not long after the awkward parting of ways, a newly-single Myriam flew to Patrick's Kentucky home in hopes of giving the relationship another try, with the two appearing on Season 2 of the spin-off "90 Day Fiance: What Now?" in 2018, per Screen Rant. Although the two went on dates and Myriam met Patrick's loved ones, the romance didn't take off. Not one to give up, Patrick decided to reconnect with his French crush in 2020 for another spin-off, "90 Day Fiance: Self-Quarantined," a special that ran at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic. It was the first time the two had talked since Myriam's Kentucky visit. "Knowing Myriam is single opened up a whole different variety of ideas in my head," Patrick said about reuniting, according to In Touch Weekly. "I don't know. We might have some Zoom dates alone." But you guessed it — things didn't work out again

However, the former "couple" still seems friendly. Patrick even posted a lengthy take on his experience via Instagram, writing, "Learned a lot about myself when I went to Paris, France...and I wouldn't change anything about my experience."

Did Patrick and Myriam fake it for the cameras?

So what are Patrick Cornett and Myriam Mana up to as of this writing? Patrick is very involved with MMA-style fighting and has since moved to Las Vegas from Kentucky. He's also still DJing. As for Myriam, she landed a gig as a host for MTV France, which keeps her busy with traveling and award shows. She posts frequently to her Instagram account of places she's visited and people she's met along the way.

But despite the two moving on — and in a successful manner — rumors still surround their time on "90 Day Fiancé." Namely, some believe Patrick and Myriam schemed together for a spot on the franchise, and that Patrick knew about the boyfriend the entire time. "This will be hands down, the most scripted couple in the history of this show yet," one Redditor said about their return to the franchise in 2018. "I'm already bored of them and ready to skip right past their segments." Someone else said, "We found out that both of them had been trying to get on reality TV shows for the past few years, it appears that they may have cooked up this little charade just to get on the show." They added, "It's not clear yet whether TLC knew about the scam ahead of time or not."

Either way, we think it's safe to file this romance in the never going to happen category.
