Who Is Heather Locklear's Fiance, Chris Heisser?
Heather Locklear established herself as a talented actor for her portrayal of Amanda Woodward on "Melrose Place," as well as her roles on other classic television series like "Dynasty," "T.J. Hooker," and "Spin City." Aside from her professional accomplishments, Locklear's love life has also made headlines in the past.
She was first married to Tommy Lee, one of the founding members of Mötley Crüe, from 1986 to 1993. Locklear later married Bon Jovi's lead guitarist Richie Sambora, whom she was wed to from 1994 until 2007, per Us Weekly. Her marriage to Sambora resulted in one child together, Ava. In addition, she was engaged to fellow "Melrose Place" actor Jack Wagner in 2011.
After these relationships ended, Locklear dated plastic surgeon Marc Mani, but the two split in 2016 after over three years together, per Radar Online. Heather Locklear's partner, Chris Heisser, is someone she has known for many years, as the couple originally met while they were attending high school together. They sparked up a romance at the time and were even voted prom king and queen during their courtship.
After the two parted ways and Locklear went on to have a successful acting career, Heisser worked as a professional AMA motocross racer, who achieved top 10 spots in national rankings in the early '80s, per In Touch Weekly. Following his career in racing, he worked as a contractor and ran his own business called Hamercop Homes Inc., as reported by Heavy. His contracting career, however, was halted when he was sentenced to two years in person for fraud, as he "forged the signature of one of the homeowners on construction loan documents and illegally obtained hundreds of thousands of dollars from [a] mortgage company," as revealed in a Contractors State License Board meeting agenda. He was also ordered to pay back the fraud victims more than $650,000.
As far as his relationship history goes, Heisser was previously married with children prior to getting divorced and later rekindling his romance with Locklear.

The high school sweethearts' relationship has not been without its problematic moments. In February of 2018, Heather Locklear was taken into custody on charges of felony domestic violence and three counts of misdemeanor battery on a police officer stemming from an altercation with Chris Heisser and responding officers, Heavy reported. Heisser was also arrested hours later for driving under the influence. The case was later dropped, as neither side chose to press charges.
The relationship survived this ordeal, as the two became engaged in April of 2020, USA Today reported. Locklear, however, recently explained that her bond to Heisser is already so secure that tying the knot isn't a top concern of hers for the moment. "I'm like, 'You're my man for the rest of my life, whether we get married or not,'" Locklear said to People in October of 2021. "[A wedding] is so not important. We're together, and we love each other and support each other. And really that's all that matters."
