Footage Of Chester Bennington's Last Performance Surfaces Online
As the details of the shocking suicide of Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington are still being reported, footage from his last performance has been shared online.
Loudwire has compiled several clips of Bennington's emotional final performance in Birmingham, England on June 7 at the Barclaycard Arena. In the above clip, Bennington belts out a stripped-down version of the band's hit song "Crawling," while surrounded by fans who are singing along and clinging to the late singer's hands.
The rock site also reports that the band was set to resume live gigs with "a new leg of shows on July 27."
As of this writing, the band has yet to release an official statement on Bennington's death, although bandmates Mike Shinoda and Dave Phoenix Farrell both tweeted that they were "heartbroken," according to E! News.
As Nicki Swift previously reported, Chester Bennington was found on Thursday, July 20, 2017 in his Palos Verdes Estate home after apparently hanging himself from his bedroom closet door with a belt. He was 41 years old.
