But heading to the Super Bowl is not Aaron's greatest achievement, as he was there before in 2018. In fact, Donald's achievements are quite extensive, as he was named AP Defensive Player of the Year three out of the last four seasons, first-team All Pro for seven years running, and in 2021, he was named No. 1 overall defensive player, per FiveThirtyEight.

Erica Donald has her own sports-related career
Erica and Aaron Donald have chosen to live a more private life together, but the two have given fans glimpses into their love story.
Erica is a graduate of Louisiana State University and she has been involved with sports most of her life, according to LinkedIn. She worked as an intern for what was then the St. Louis Rams — a possible foreshadowing into her future life — before working as an intern with Fox Sports. From there, it seems her first big job after graduation was working with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers before joining the Rams as manager of community affairs and player involvement.
Her time at the Rams lasted from 2015 to 2020 and many speculate this is when she and Aaron met, as he began playing for the team in 2014. While many suspect this is when the two met, the pair have chosen to keep the details of their relationship between them. And hey, who can blame them? We do know that following the previous Super Bowls the Rams played in, instead of heading to the post-game soirees, Aaron chose to celebrate with Erica and his two kids from a previous relationship, signaling his bond with Erica began early on and is incredibly important to him.

Despite all of the awards Aaron Donald has received during his time in the NFL, it seems his biggest accomplishment is his relationship with his wife Erica Donald.
Since the start of their relationship, the two have kept a low profile, but we do know that they are now happily married. While neither Erica nor Donald announced when they chose to tie the knot, Erica did change her social media handles to reflect her new surname and has been seen sporting a massive ring on her left finger since 2020. Aaron posted to his YouTube channel calling her his fiancée in July 2020, signaling marriage was ultimately on the horizon.
But their marriage isn't the only new chapter the couple has written together, as these two have even expanded their family to welcome their first child together — a son named Aaric Donald. The two announced they named their son Aaric as a way to combine both of their names. However, combining their names for their son seems to signal a bigger part of their relationship: keeping family at the center of their life. For example, following a recent game day win for the Rams, Erica and the children ran onto the field to embrace Aaron. "Erica jumped into his arms. 'I'm so proud of you!'" she told Donald, per Sports Illustrated. The Donalds clearly know how to keep their eyes on the prize.
