Amber Heard Comments On Breakup With Elon Musk

Amber Heard and Elon Musk know how to get out in front of tabloid rumors.

Just yesterday, Musk left a comment on Heard's Instagram, explaining the reasons for the power couple's recent split. He wrote, "Btw, just to clear up some of the press storm this weekend, although Amber and I did break up, we are still friends, remain close and love one another. Long distance relationships when both partners have intense work obligations are always difficult, but who knows what the future holds."

As Us Weekly reported, Amber reciprocated those feelings in yet another Instagram post. 

Under a photo of the word "give" spelled out in rose petals around a pool, Heard wrote the caption, "Being in the public eye means having to explain yourself to so many people, so much of the time. In this case, I'd like to remain more quiet. Although we have broken up, Elon and I care deeply for one another and remain close. Thank you for the continued support, respect, and privacy during these difficult, very human times."

The Justice League star and tech entrepreneur split after a year of dating with insiders speculating that "the timing wasn't good for them." 

Oh well, there are other A-List actress and billionaire fish in the sea, right?
