Who Is 90 Day Fiance Star Stephanie Matto's Ex, Nik Stone?

Stephanie Matto first caught the attention of millions when she appeared on Season 4 of "90 Day Fiance: Before the 90 Days." She made "90 Day Fiance" history as being part of the first same-sex relationship to appear on the show. At the time, she was dating her girlfriend Erika Owens from Australia, but the couple had an explosive break-up that aired on the show in May 2020. According to Reality TV World, the pair began having issues soon after meeting for the first time after Matto traveled across the world. Owens thought that Matto would have the same personality she portrayed online in-person. Since then, Matto has been a part of the spin-off, "90 Day: The Single Life."

Following the break-up, Matto opened up to InTouch Weekly about her thoughts. "I knew I had a lot of self-work to do so I kind of took some time off and I got into shape," she said. "I started working on my business on my site and I became the person that my dream person would want. And I think I'm in a much better place now."

Before her time on television, Matto was a YouTuber under the channel name: Stepanka. Matto also wrote a book "Mean Boys & Memories: A compilation of my most hideous, outrageous, and embarrassing moments." While Matto seems to be trying to make a name for herself via other avenues, many viewers and fans are still interested and invested in her romantic relationships. Her most recent public relationship with YouTuber Nik Stone, in particular, captured the attention of viewers.

Who is Matto's ex, Nik Stone?

Nik Stone is a YouTuber who found success after focusing on the "90 Day Fiance" franchise online. His YouTube channel, Your Wet Sock, has over 270,000 subscribers and 35 million overall channel views. Most recently, Stone has stuck to covering "90 Day Fiance" news and reviews of reality star and celebrity OnlyFans accounts. His most viewed video, "No Neck Ed Leaves Rose," covers a popular "90 Day Fiance" break-up and has almost 3 million views.

During one of his OnlyFans reviews, Stone accused Stephanie Matto of faking her bisexuality for fame and more online opportunities. He also criticized her YouTube content and even called her vlogging "lazy." This is not out of the ordinary for the YouTuber, as Stone is known for roasting and poking fun at reality stars, especially from the TLC franchise.

Stone was very judgmental and suspicious of Matto's relationship with Owens during this review. Thus, it came as a shock to fans when the two abruptly revealed that they were dating online. Matto posted a since-deleted Instagram photo of the pair (via ScreenRant), with the caption: "I never knew love until I met you." She later revealed that the two were engaged. Prior to dating Matto, he was also engaged to another YouTube star, Blair Walnuts, after dating for seven years.

Was Stephanie Matto really engaged to Nik Stone?

The couple announced their engagement and relationship on social media while both promoting separate projects, leading fans to believe that their relationship was all some sort of publicity student. Stephanie Matto was busy boosting her online platform, Unfiltrd, an NSFW-friendly platform and OnlyFans competitor, while Nik Stone continued to build his online presence as a content creator on platforms such as TikTok. After dating for just a few months, the two seemingly called it quits. According to ScreenRant, Instagram posts of the two have since been deleted, and Matto confirmed their split in an Instagram story.

In September 2021, Matto called Stone her "hubby" on now-deleted Instagram posts. The couple also made a YouTube video together on Stone's channel, where nearly the entire comment section was full of users questioning if their relationship was real. Stone also posted to his YouTube channel community in a since-deleted update (via ScreenRant), "Oh btw Stephanie and I got a thang now... it seems like just yesterday I was making fun of her and now we make out big poggerz."

The two presumably dated for less than six months and got engaged rather quickly. While what went wrong remains a mystery, many fans believe their whole relationship was fake and simply for self-promotion. Matto revealed in an Instagram Story (via ScreenRant), "We are obviously not a part of each other's lives anymore, but I wish him so much happiness."
