What All Of Kim Kardashian's Exes Have Said About Her

Since those carefree noughties days of being Paris Hilton's assistant, Kim Kardashian has built a multimillion dollar empire around her entire persona, not to mention her love life. Girls want to look like her and guys want to be with her. As such, there has been a seemingly never ending bevy of hunks desperate to slide into Kim K's DMs.

From the moment that infamous sex tape landed (and, if legend has it, mom Kris Jenner was the mastermind behind it), Kardashian has been a tabloid staple. Subsequently, her love life has come under intense scrutiny, with numerous former flings eager to dish on what it's like to get jiggy with Kimmie. All the while, however, Kardashian remains her own woman.

The reality TV star was recently praised by, of all people, British feminist writer Julie Burchill, who argued in The Spectator that Kardashian represents "a functioning matriarchy, where men come and go wearing the same baffled expression and the females have the final say." It is true that Kim K has never relied on a man to bolster her fame and wealth. These days, she is happy with unlikely lover Pete Davidson, of "Saturday Night Live" fame, who straight up admitted to People that he keeps a candle of his lady love in his room. By Kardashian's own admission, Davidson is also, to use Grandpa Simpson's lingo, a demon in the sack. But there's more to Kim K than Ye and Skete: here's what all of Kim Kardashian's exes have said about her.

T.J. Jackson said Kim Kardashian helped him cope with his trauma

Kim Kardashian and T.J. Jackson, who is the nephew of the King of Pop and son of his brother Tito, apparently had a youthful fling. Having both been raised in the limelight, the duo were understandably drawn to each other. According to the book "Kim" (via Mirror), Kardashian lost her virginity to Jackson when she was a mere 14-years-old. Jackson was a tad older at 16. Indeed, Kardashian often spent significant periods of time at Neverland and actually spent her 14th birthday at the ranch, as she revealed to People, so this purported rendezvous may very well have occurred at the birthday party.

During an appearance on "Sway's Universe," Jackson opened up about his teen tryst with Kardashian. "Kim and I went to each other's proms," he divulged. "We dated for a couple of years in high school." Around this time, Jackson's mom, Delores, was tragically murdered, per ABC News. Detailing the trauma that coincided with his relationship with Kardashian, he said that his ex and her family supported him throughout the ordeal.

Per Mirror, Jackson had nothing but kind words for his former flame, even if they're no longer as tight as they once were. "I still talk to the family every now and then, though not too much because our schedules are pretty busy," he said. "I dated Kim when my mother passed away, so I was actually quite close to the family when I was young."

Damon Thomas called his ex-wife irresponsible

Kim K's first husband, Damon Thomas was married to the star for four years, between 2000 and 2004. According to Thomas' interview with "VladTV," he first met Kardashian at Michael Jackson's Neverland ranch when she was a teen. "It was just young love, you know?" he said of falling for the then unknown beauty. Kardashian has since expressed immense regret about her relationship with Thomas, whom she wed in Vegas when she was a mere 19-years-old (the groom, meanwhile, was a decade older). Spilling the tea on her teen marriage during an episode of "Keeping Up with the Kardashians," she claimed that she was high on ecstasy when she said "I do" back in 2000, per Grazia.

This didn't please Thomas one bit. While he prefaced his clap back by stating that he is proud of how far Kardashian has come, he ultimately branded his ex-wife irresponsible for the remarks. "Because it happened in the past, you can try to sweep it under the rug," he told VladTV. "But you don't stay married to somebody or be with somebody for four to five years and it's just based off you getting high off of ecstasy... That doesn't make any sense at all."

But it seems that Thomas shouldn't be so quick to judge his ex. As reported by Daily Mail, Kardashian also claimed that he abused her throughout their marriage, though her ex-husband denies this. "It's just absolutely not true," Thomas responded, per New York Daily News.

If you or someone you know is dealing with domestic abuse, you can call the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1−800−799−7233. You can also find more information, resources, and support at their website.

Ray J claimed that he and Kardashian planned to release their sex tape

Per Cosmopolitan, Kim Kardashian dated Ray J from 2003 to 2006 and he's the man behind the notorious sex tape that helped propel her to stardom. Speaking with "VladTV" in 2009, Ray reflected on the pair's relationship, explaining that he had a duty to emphasize the love and respect he has for his ex. "Let me say that beyond the love, I felt like she had star quality," he said. "And, I felt like she could be really big ... I got a lot of respect for Kim."

Despite these declarations of love and respect, Ray nevertheless opted to divulge intimate details about Kardashian to The Sun, claiming that she would do her makeup mid sex sesh and spent tens of thousands of dollars on skimpy lingerie. "She liked to look dope during sex, the right lighting, setting the mood," he said. "She was wild – there was a red Louis Vuitton trunk of sex toys."

In an interview with Daily Mail, he opened up about the infamous sex tape and disputed Kardashian's claims of a leak, alleging that the couple, along with Kris Jenner, orchestrated the release of the racy vid. He also claimed that the only reason he and Kardashian broke up was that she supposedly stole from his mom. "We would probably still be together now," he asserted. "But when that happened, I said I don't want to be sleeping around with you no more."

Nick Cannon said Kim K broke his heart

Before he wed Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon dated Kim Kardashian circa 2006, per Independent. Since their break-up, Cannon has been candid with regards to his dalliance with the reality TV superstar. His song "My Side of the Story" offers some insight into their romance. Per Genius, he reveals that the pair hooked up after meeting on the set of "Moesha," where Kardashian worked as the actor turned rapper's stylist.

During an appearance on "Drink Champs," Cannon detailed how he got involved with Kardashian. In peak 2000s iconography, he explained that he would often hang out with Kardashian, Paris Hilton, and Lil Kim. "We were getting pretty serious back then," he recalled, noting that the lovers were torn apart when he learnt about the Ray J sex tape from the man himself (Ray would often tease him about his new lady love). Cannon claimed that Kardashian repeatedly denied the existence of the tape, which led to trust issues. "I was really into her, I was vibing," he said, adding, "Then, it started being these little rumors going around that there was this tape."

Cannon has also been shady when discussing his short-lived romance with Kardashian. When asked by "BigBoyTV" to name five famous women with whom he had sex, he mentioned that he had a fling with the reality mogul. "She forgot because there's been a lot of people since me," he snarkily remarked, quickly covering his tracks by adding, "She's a great girl, though."

Nick Lachey branded Kim less than an ex

Following his divorce from Jessica Simpson, boyband star turned TV personality Nick Lachey briefly dated Kim Kardashian. Since then, however, Lachey has had nothing but shady retorts when spilling the tea on his dalliance Kimmie.

In a 2013 interview with Details (via Daily Mail), he claimed that Kardashian called the paps during their movie date in 2006. "Let's just say this: We went to a movie. No one followed us there," he explained. "Somehow, mysteriously, when we left, there were 30 photographers waiting outside." But Kardashian has disputed her former flame's version of events. In her book "Kardashian Konfidential," she said that it was inevitable the paparazzi would show up to their date, since they were interested in finding out who Lachey's new love interest was.

Despite Kardashian telling her side of the story, Lachey has been pretty unrelenting in trashing his ex (Lachey and Kimmie, it should be noted, only dated for a week). Speaking on "Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen," Lachey hinted that Kim K used him for self-promo. Revealing that Kardashian left halfway through the movie, he reiterated the paparazzi story, albeit with some modifications to his original recollection. "I think there were other things in play on our little rendezvous," he remarked, though he did go on to call his ex a "nice girl." Considering that Lachey had his entire wedding televised by the TLC Network, perhaps he shouldn't be so quick to judge. People in glass houses shouldn't throw shade, Nick.

Bow Wow said he had to keep his Kim K romance a secret

During an appearance on "Hollywood Unlocked," Bow Wow dished the deets on his dalliance with Kim Kardashian. Calling his former lover "super dope," he revealed that he dated Kim K shortly before she met football star Reggie Bush in 2007. But he said that he felt pressured into keeping the fling a secret since he had never dated anyone outside his race before.

Chatting with "VladTV," he emphasized that he and Kardashian weren't in a serious relationship. In his elite LA circle, Bow Wow explained, it was near impossible to not have a run-in with the Kardashian clan. "It wasn't like we was going super hard," he said. "We was young and everybody was just having fun ... It wasn't a big deal." As with many of Kardashian's exes, he stressed that he has nothing but respect for the star, even if they did have a fleeting tryst.

Seeing as the Kimmie that Bow Wow knew wasn't the multimillionaire magnate she is today, the rapper noted that his onetime lady love had an evident entrepreneurial streak to her. "She's always been a hustler though," he enthused, highlighting Kardashian's influence on young women aspiring to be Instagram influencers in her unmistakable mold. "She laid down the blueprint, man. She's like the modern day, like, Marilyn Monroe," he added. Considering that Kardashian channeled Monroe at the 2022 Met Gala — damaging the famous figure-hugging gown in the process — her ex's words proved oddly prophetic.

Reggie Bush has nothing but praise for Kim Kardashian

In the spring of 2007, Kim Kardashian began dating football player Reggie Bush, per E!. In a joint interview with GQ, Bush said that he first set eyes on Kardashian at the ESPY Awards and was intrigued by the beguiling brunette.

Since Kardashian's relationship with Bush coincided with the release of her sex tape with Ray J, the couple inevitably faced immense media scrutiny. Despite the negative attention and gossip he was subjected to as a result, Bush told GQ that he didn't judge his then girlfriend. "With Kim ... it's not my place to judge, no matter what they've done — good, bad, or indifferent," he said. "I was a friend to her when she needed one, and we ended up talking, and everything worked out."

Despite the pair's sizzling chemistry and undeniably dynamic power couple status, it wasn't meant to be. Yet, Bush has been nothing less than a gent when remarking on his ex. Speaking with Us Weekly, he said that he is no longer in touch with Kardashian, but that didn't stop him from lavishing praise on her. "She's doing a great job creating a brand for herself, her and her family," he enthused. "I'm happy for 'em ... She's very smart."

Bush is now married to Lilit Avagyan, who is not only another Armenian beauty, but one who bears a striking resemblance to his uber famous ex. We can't help but be reminded of the "Frasier" episode in which Daphne dates Niles' doppelganger.

Kris Humphries slammed rumors that his marriage was a sham

In 2011, basketball player Kris Humphries married Kim Kardashian in a highly publicized wedding, per The Washington Post. The publicity surrounding the wedding was so extreme that it led to rumors that the pair's relationship was a sham orchestrated by the Kardashian clan. The Hollywood Reporter detailed all the ways in which the marriage, which lasted all but 72 days, was likely fake, including the whopping $1.5 million that People paid the newlyweds for their wedding snaps.

"To me it was real," Humphries proclaimed to Access in 2012. Meanwhile, when asked by Good Morning America whether he was still in love with his ex-wife, he laughed and stated he was "focused on just what I can control."

In a 2019 essay for The Players Tribune, Humphries set the record straight, insisting that his marriage to Kim K was nothing less than authentic. The sports star said he fell in love with Kardashian and her immense fame was a mere coincidence. "Our actual relationship was 100% real. When it was clear that it wasn't working ... what can I say? It sucked," he wrote. "It's never easy to go through the embarrassment of something like that ... But when it plays out so publicly, in front of the world ... It was brutal." Detailing the detrimental effect of the constant negative media attention, the athlete said that he felt reduced to Mr. Kim Kardashian, and was no longer acknowledged for his skills on the basketball court.

Shengo Deane wanted more from Kim K

Aussie bodyguard Shengo Deane briefly dated Kim Kardashian, though he wishes the pair could have had more than a rendezvous in front of the E! Network cameras. Back in 2011, the pair's relationship was depicted on "Keeping Up with the Kardashians." And, in typical "KUWTK" style, they were filmed getting hot and heavy under the sheets — though viewers were spared from seeing everything the lusty lovers had on offer, per Daily Mail.

The relationship was not without controversy: Deane was married to wife Zuzana when he met Kardashian. "He told me he didn't want to be married to me anymore, and then he ends up in her arms in Los Angeles," Zuzana told Star (via Hollywood Life).

Despite leaving his wife for Kardashian, the twosome soon drifted apart, largely due to Deane's inability to find work in the City of Angels and the inevitable constraints of dating one of the most famous and influential women in the world. The bodyguard opened up about his romance with Kardashian to Now to Love. "They are a beautiful family and I enjoyed being part of that, but ... I didn't want to have to ask for $50 to go to the movies," he explained. He is, however, still friends with Kimmie and conceded that the break-up devastated both himself and his ex. "She wanted to use me as a bodyguard, but her business manager said that security had already been arranged," Deane sadly recalled. "I wish we could've worked together."

The Game dedicated NSFW tracks to Kim

There's no denying that Kim Kardashian has a thing for rappers. Yet another man included in her rap rendezvous repertoire is The Game. In a 2014 interview with BBC Radio (via E!), Game admitted that he casually dated Kardashian. "We went to McDonalds twice. Pulled up in a drive thru," he joked, before stating that he loves his ex and her then hubby Kanye West.

Appearing on "Wendy Williams," the rapper revealed that he slept with both Kim and her sister Khloe. When Williams pressed him to discuss his supposed lusty encounter with Kimmie, Game opted to remain a gent. "I'll tell you this: Kanye is a really good friend of mine, and they got really, really beautiful kids and I don't want to disrespect their family," he said.

While he was reluctant to divulge the specifics of his late night shenanigans with Kim K on Williams' family-friendly show, Game did dish the deets — via the almighty diss track. He has dedicated not one, but two tracks to trashing his former paramour. He first referenced their dalliance in the lyrics to "Sauce," in which he raps about, ahem, romancing three Kardashians, per Refinery29. In 2019, TMZ reported that he previewed a new song and reignited that invective towards Kim. We're not going to be repeating any of those NSFW lyrics, but suffice to say, things ended acrimoniously between the pair. Even the Daily Mail, famed for its arguably problematic sidebar of shame, dragged Game for his misogyny.

Kanye West launched a tirade against Kim

At the height of Kimye, who wed in 2014, Kanye West often gushed about his lady love. When GQ asked the rapper what drew him to Kim Kardashian, he enthused in typical Ye style, "You mean to tell me that this girl with this f***ing body and this face is also into style, and she's a nice person, and she has her own money and is family-oriented? That's just as cool as a f***ing fighter jet or dinosaur!"

Amid West's increasing alliance with the American right, in contrast to Kardashian's liberal politics, the couple divorced in 2021, per ITV. During an appearance on "Drink Champs," Ye confessed, "I want us to be together." In a desperate bid to save his marriage, he pleaded with Kardashian to "run right back to me" at a benefit concert, per E!. Ever since these fruitless endeavors, however, West has been unrelenting in his takedowns of his ex.

In a series of since deleted Instagram posts, West launched a vitriolic tirade against his ex and her new boyfriend Pete Davidson. In one post, he suggested that the reality star is an unfit mother for allowing daughter North to have a TikTok account, per Us Weekly. Thereafter, he professed his undying love for Kardashian, declaring "KIMYE FOREVER" on Instagram followed by a broken heart emoji. In texts shared on Instagram (via Page Six), Davidson condemned Ye's behavior and passionately defended his lady love, whom he called "literally the best mother I've ever met."
