Chicago Med's Torrey DeVitto Used To Date This Blue Bloods Star
"Chicago Med" star Torrey DeVitto has not shied away from dating fellow actors, including those she has worked with. DeVitto was previously romantically linked to "Vampire Diaries" costar Paul Wesley. Before working on The CW show together, the pair met on the set of "Killer Movie" in 2007. In 2011, DeVitto and Wesley tied the knot in a private ceremony. Unfortunately, the two actors decided to call it quits after two years together in 2013, although a rep for Wesley described the decision as "amicable," per People. That was not the last actor, or co-star, that DeVitto would date.
DeVitto was part of a real-life crossover television event when it was confirmed she was dating "Chicago P.D." star Jesse Lee Soffer in 2018. "It's great. It's awesome," Soffer told Us Weekly at the time while describing the relationship. Although Soffer's character Jay Halstead had episodes on "Chicago Med," he did not have scenes with DeVittos' Dr. Natalie Manning. By May 2019, the relationship between the two actors had run its course, and Soffer confirmed they had broken up, per Us Weekly.
Despite encountering heartbreak, the "One Tree Hill" alum remained confident she would find a partner. "What am I looking for? A best friend, somebody to travel with, a partner, somebody who has the same values as me," she told Us Weekly in November 2019. The next year she was linked to another actor, and this time, it was somebody who starred on "Blue Bloods."

In October 2020, Torry DeVitto took to Instagram to make her romance with "Blue Bloods" actor Will Estes IG official. She uploaded a black and white selfie alongside Estes, as the two cozied up to each other, per People. That same day, the "7th Heaven" alum posted a photo of himself and DeVitto, although they were both sporting face masks.
Besides the Instagram posts, the couple kept a fairly low profile, but DeVitto did gush over her beau after they went public. "We like to keep pretty private about our plans and what we do and stuff," she told Us Weekly in October 2020. "So I don't want to speak too much on it, but yeah, it's pretty incredible," DeVitto added. The "Pretty Little Liars" actor spoke to the outlet about how important it was to find a partner who prioritized activism. "We're in such dire times that it's like, if you can turn a blind eye to anything that's going on with the planet, with other human beings, with animals, then to me, it's like, I don't know that there would be much for me to connect on," she said.
There was no official announcement, but the pair eventually called it quits and deleted their respective Instagram posts. Estes continued to keep his dating life under wraps, and according to his CBS biography, "he currently resides with his two rescue dogs." Meanwhile, DeVitto was far more open about her next relationship.
Torrey DeVitto dates a former baseball player
Another high-profile beau was in Torrey DeVitto's sights after Will Estes, but this time she wound up with somebody outside the acting world. The "Chicago Med" star confirmed she was in a relationship with former MLB catcher turned Chicago Cubs manager, David Ross. DeVitto uploaded an Instagram photo of her planting a kiss on Ross' cheek in May 2021. "Love him madly," she wrote in the caption alongside an heart emoji. Earlier that month, DeVitto strongly hinted at the relationship with the former slugger when she uploaded snaps to Instagram from a trip to Cincinnati. The last slide was a photo of Ross in the dugout during a game, and DeVitto drew a heart around his head.
Prior to dating the television star, Ross was married to Hyla Ross, his high school sweetheart, for 15 years. The married couple divorced in 2020, as confirmed by Ross in an interview with The Chicago Sun-Times.
A month after DeVitto made their relationship Instagram official, the Cubs manager took to the social media platform to gush over his girlfriend on her birthday. "You make me so happy! Happy birthday beautiful," Ross wrote in the caption alongside a photo of the pair cozying up for the camera.
