The cast of "RHOBH" is famously characterized by their use of a "glam team" that helps transform them with extravagant hair, makeup, and outfits. Unlike Erika Jayne, Richards wasn't stirring up controversy over her $750,000 diamond earrings. And though Richards gets glammed up for events and on-screen roles, she loves to embrace her natural beauty by going makeup-free.

In March 2020, Denise Richards posted a casual selfie on Instagram. She dressed down in a hoodie and wore her hair in a messy bun at her husband's office. Though the star went makeup-free, she still looked absolutely stunning. The photo drew attention to her light blue-green eyes, radiant complexion, and thick eyebrows.
So, how often does Richards go makeup-free? The actor previously spoke to Into The Gloss about her beauty routine and shared that she's not as hair and makeup crazed as her "Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" castmates. She also revealed, "When I'm not working I don't really wear that much makeup, so I didn't want to go into that show where I was not being myself." And the star has had issues with certain products before. When a fan questioned Richards about her red eyes at the "RHOBH" reunion on Instagram, Richards explained, "I am allergic to powder, I've tried so many. I hate it. As soon as it's used on my face, my eyes get bright red immediately."
However, Richards isn't tossing makeup aside completely. In March 2019, she shared her favorite products in a video for Bravo. The actor particularly likes mascara and dewy foundation. She also gave some advice on how to keep a look simple, saying, "At the restaurant — if you have a date or you're meeting friends or whatever — just do gloss and concealer." Noted.

Even when it comes to skincare, Denise Richards doesn't like to overdo it. She told Into The Gloss, "For me, less is more. I don't do Botox — I've tried it in the past but I didn't like it. I mean, I liked that I looked very rested, but I didn't like the way it felt on my face." Richards went into detail about her skincare routine and shared one important tip. She said, "I've tried so many products over the years, and one of the things I've always loved to do is combine a cream moisturizer with a natural oil to hydrate my skin." This hack even inspired her to develop a product! She revealed, "Eventually I made one to sell, a cream oil, and it's my favorite product in my line, CBMe. It was so important to have hemp seed oil in it."
According to Bravo, Richards' CB Me Beauty skincare line includes essential products such as a probiotic cleanser, a mineral moisturizer, and a retinol serum. In a press release, Richards stated, "I am delighted by the CB Me line that we have created. These are wonderful products and what I find most exciting is that there is a long-range plan to introduce new products that will constantly get better and better."
