Kelly Ripa is just as youthful-looking now as when she first starred in "All My Children" in the 1990s. At 51 years old, Ripa looks fresh-faced, even makeup-free. Maintaining their looks is part of a celebrity's job, and many get help from plastic surgeons. However, many famous faces deny getting any major work done, such as Kim Kardashian. The SKIMS founder revealed that she only gets a bit of Botox between her brows, which fans found hard to believe.
Ripa has been open about how she has managed to maintain her looks over the years, and like Kardashian, is a fan of Botox. Ripa attributes the injectable to preventing sweating under her arms and preventing sagging on her face. "Every seven months or so my eyelid skin rests on my eyelashes. So I feel like it makes my makeup artist's life easier, and it makes my eyes look a little more open on TV, which is where I happen to work right now," she told Elle. Fans on Instagram speculated whether the "Live With Kelly and Ryan" host had work done on her nose and teeth, but she adamantly replied, "No nose job, and no veneers," per Allure. However, the television star has admitted to getting plastic surgery elsewhere.

In a video posted on the "Live With Kelly and Ryan" Instagram page, Kelly Ripa shared that she had to visit a plastic surgeon to fix her earlobes. As she showed off her multiple piercings, she revealed that she had pierced her own ears with a needle and an apple when she was younger. After years of wearing heavy earrings, her earlobes couldn't take the strain anymore. Ripa pointed out the gauges on her lobes and said, "These were my ear holes that tore all the way through. And so I had to go to a plastic surgeon. My two earlobes are now very different."
As the cameras zoomed in for a close-up of Ripa's right ear, she pointed out that a piece of her earlobe was missing because the plastic surgeon had to sew up the torn lobes. She showed off her left ear, which had healed nicely, and told the cameras, "I have two different earlobes." Although that was the extent of her plastic surgery at the time, Ripa has joked about getting more nips and tucks on other body parts.
Kelly Ripa is open to more plastic surgery in the future
In a September "Live With Kelly and Ryan" episode (via The U.S. Sun), Kelly Ripa shared a picture of herself in a bikini. Ripa showed how her husband Mark Consuelos, who took the snapshot, just took a picture of her torso. "And it renews my efforts that I do, in fact, need a boob job," she lamented. "The 32 now quadruple A-longs are not looking good." Ripa had previously shared her desire for breast implants when she jokingly asked Consuelos on Instagram, "Can I get a boob job? Oh and i love you."
Ripa also wondered if it was time for her to get lip fillers. During another "Live With Kelly and Ryan" segment (via People), she shared a conversation she had with her makeup artist, Kristofer Buckle. "I go, 'You know, I've been watching all these injectable lips that they do now, and I've been thinking about putting fillers in my lips ... He was like, 'It might be time,'" she stated. In the meantime, Ripa uses optical illusions to plump her pout. "I do trace outside the lines," she stated, per Hello! "Lisa Rinna's Lip Kit is an amazing thing." She also shared a trick Buckle uses to make her nose appear slimmer, by contouring it with a bronzer. Although Ripa may be considering plastic surgery in the future, she seems content as of now to enhance her looks with fun makeup tricks.
