Larsa Pippen's rise to popularity can largely be credited to her connections to even more famous faces. The ex-wife of former Chicago Bulls star Scottie Pippen joined "The Real Housewives of Miami" in 2011 and later became a close pal of Kim Kardashian. And while Larsa and Kardashian eventually ended their friendship, the Chicago native had quickly become a tabloid favorite.
Larsa and Scottie -– who share children Justin, Sophia, Preston, and Scotty Jr. — announced their separation in 2016, after Scottie filed for divorce (per TMZ). "After careful consideration and 19 years together, Larsa and Scottie have each filed for dissolution of their marriage," Larsa's reps said in a statement. "Although they are no longer to be married, Larsa remains hopeful that she and Scottie will always do what is best for their 4 beautiful children and jointly raise them with love and respect." However, Larsa and Scottie's split was much more complicated than some may think, and her rumored relationship with Future was at the center of the messy divorce.
Larsa Pippen denied the alleged affair with Future
Days after Larsa and Scottie Pippen announced their separation, sources claimed to Us Weekly that the reality star had an affair with rapper Future. According to an insider, Larsa's relationship with the "Mask Off" emcee began shortly after the pair met in the summer of 2016. "Scottie is devastated," one source claimed. Another added, "He found out about Larsa and Future and couldn't handle it." Despite the allegations, Scottie and Larsa called off their initial divorce. However, the couple split for good in 2018. And while those around the "Real Housewives of Miami" star immediately denied the allegations, Larsa herself addressed the cheating rumors a few years later.
"I was married to him for 20 years, I did everything for him and my family. People change and that's what really happened," Larsa tweeted (via TMZ). "Most people can't even imagine being in a relationship for a week so I know it's beyond imagination ... Cheating wasn't the problem."
She later provided further context about her relationship with Future during a conversation with "Hollywood Raw." Larsa emphasized that her time with the rapper was "a respectable relationship," and that she was living apart from Scottie at the time. However, Future has hinted at a different chain of events.

Future has made no attempt to shy away from the scandal surrounding his relationship with Larsa Pippen. In 2020, the Georgia native rapped about his time with Larsa and even took a jab at her ex-husband and former NBA player, Scottie Pippen. "I did it by mistake, it wasn't on purpose / End up f***ing your wife," he rapped on "Federal Fed."
Larsa eventually addressed Future's remarks, and suggested that their relationship was "never that." She told Jason Lee on Hollywood Unlocked, "He served a purpose. Did I want to, like, spend the rest of my life with him? Don't think so, but he served a purpose." However, the Bravo star's relationship with the "Wait for You" rapper got even messier after rapper N.O.R.E. claimed that Future only slept with Larsa to spite Scottie. "I always think of this Future story. Future said he met Scottie Pippen, and Scottie Pippen didn't want to give him a picture ... So he f***ed his b****," he said during an episode of the "Drink Champs" podcast.
And while it seems that the truth about Larsa and Future's relationship will forever be riddled by bizarre rumors, the "RHOM" star has seemingly moved on. In the years since, Larsa has also been linked with Malik Beasley, as well as Michael Jordan's son, Marcus, according to a report from Us Weekly.
