Inside Larsa Pippen's Relationship With Married Malik Beasley
Larsa Pippen is no stranger to having her name in the headlines. As the ex-wife of NBA legend Scottie Pippen, it's no wonder that the 10-part ESPN docuseries The Last Dance – which follows the Chicago Bulls' 1997-98 season – put Scottie and Larsa back in the spotlight. However, Larsa can make her own headlines, too. She had a very high-profile friendship with the Kardashians that ended in an ugly feud between her and Kim Kardashian. And since blood is thicker than water, the Kardashians have since unfollowed Larsa on social media.
Since Larsa and Scottie split (here's the reason they called it quits in the first place), it's put Larsa back in the dating world. Fast forward to November 2020, when she was photographed in Miami with a new man, per TMZ. Larsa was seen holding hands with Minnesota Timberwolves player Malik Beasley and while initially it all seems above board, Malik is actually married. Here's the scoop.
People hope Malik Beasley's wife is okay
Larsa Pippen was spotted holding hands with Malik Beasley at a shopping mall in Miami, Fla., on Nov. 23, 2020, according to TMZ. Noticeably absent from the shopping trip was the Beasley's wife, model Montana Yao, and their child. Beasley was reportedly supposed to return to Minnesota for his 24th birthday on Nov. 26, 2020, per TMZ, and Yao "was disappointed when he didn't make it back." Then, she apparently saw the photos of Beasley with Pippen, which totally "blindsided" Yao, according to the outlet. Complex reported that Yao had no idea Beasley had been out and about with Pippen.
In response, Yao shared her experience with followers on Instagram. On her Instagram Story, she wrote (via the New York Post): "Wow... I don't even know this man ... this is wild y'all I'm seeing it for the first time just like y'all." Just days after the mall photos surfaced, Pippen posted sponsored content over on her Instagram, but instead of shopping, people left comments about the situation. Someone wrote: "Arm in arm with a married man, so not nice." People also went after Beasley. One person took to the comments section of one of his Instagram posts to write: "I hope your wife is okay."
