Kyrie Irving has been hitting the headlines for all the wrong reasons after he tweeted out a link to the antisemitic movie "Hebrews to Negroes: Wake Up Black America" on October 27, per Rolling Stone. His decision to shine the spotlight on the extremely controversial movie caused serious backlash in the basketball world and beyond, even resulting in Irving being banned from at least five Brooklyn Nets games. "We were dismayed today, when given an opportunity in a media session, that Kyrie refused to unequivocally say he has no antisemitic beliefs, nor acknowledge specific hateful material in the film. This was not the first time he had the opportunity — but failed — to clarify," the basketball team explained in a statement on November 4, per NBC News.
That came after Irving and the team pledged $500,000 each to the Anti-Defamation League in the wake of his controversial tweet, though CEO Jason Greenblat noted on Twitter shortly after the announcement that the charity would refuse Irving's money. "Although we will not accept any funds from him, if Kyrie is open to direct dialogue to repair the harm that he has caused and to engage in a process of healing and learning in a sincere manner, @ADL is open to engaging with him. Time and action will tell," he wrote.

In her role as an influencer, Marlene Wilkerson has shared a few business tips with her followers, including revealing how she makes her money. In one YouTube video shared in September 2021, she revealed she used the platform Alibaba to sell items, while she's also given tips on how to increase sales on sites like Shopify. In 2018, she shared in a YouTube video that she started her first business, a clothing line, in her early 20s and started making $5,000 a month by utilizing social media. As of March 2022, Otakukart put Wilkerson's net worth at an impressive $2 million.
According to the influencer's LinkedIn page, Wilkerson's job since June 2015 has been serving as the CEO of her brand, The Find Guru, which she began after graduating from California State University with a Bachelor's degree in marketing.
