Melissa Joan Hart's Son Has Grown Up To Be Her Twin

The genes run deep in Melissa Joan Hart's family. The mother of three regularly shares photos of her trio of boys on social media, and each time, the posts capture plenty of attention from her loyal fans. Melissa Joan Hart has played plenty of roles in her professional life, but there's no doubt that the one that sticks out the most was playing the part of Sabrina Spellman in "Sabrina the Teenage Witch." According to her IMDb profile, Hart starred in the tween favorite from 1996 through 2003, though most of us wished it lasted for much longer. The actor also appeared in another teen favorite — Nickelodeon's "Clarissa Explains It All," shortly before starring in Sabrina.

But aside from her roles in television shows and movies (let's also give a nod to her flick, "Drive Me Crazy," with Adrian Grenier), she has enjoyed a great life outside the spotlight. According to People, Hart met her husband, Mark Wilkerson, at the Kentucky Derby in 2002, and the two hit it off. In 2021, Hart took to Instagram to share a huge milestone in their marriage — 18 years of wedded bliss. Over the years, the pair expanded their family and welcomed three sons — Mason, Braydon, and Tucker.

In an interview with Modern Mom, Hart called motherhood the "highlight of her life" and something that comes naturally to her. "The most surprising part of being a mom is how much of your past life disappears," she said of the most prominent role in her life. And since she came from a family of eight kids, she said, "I guess I'm just used to having kids around." One of Hart's children, in particular, bears an extreme resemblance to her. There's no doubt that all three of Hart's children resemble her, but she and her eldest son, Mason Wilkerson, may as well be twins!

Melissa Joan Hart and her eldest son, Mason Wilkerson, are twinning

The genes run deep in Melissa Joan Hart's family. The mother of three regularly shares photos of her trio of boys on social media, and each time, the posts capture plenty of attention from her loyal fans. While there's no doubt that Hart bares a significant resemblance to all of her kiddos, she and her eldest son, Mason Wilkerson, may as well be twins!

In August 2022, the actor posted an Instagram photo of herself and Mason on a day she dubbed "Mason Mondays." Hart appeared to snap the selfie-style shot and was all smiles as she stood with Mason. From their identical noses to their mega-watt smiles, it's safe to say that Mason is a doppelgänger of his famous mother. "Tonight was a special night out for the football team celebrating #HelmetsandHeels, which meant we got to dress up and spend time together," she wrote in the upload, thanking Mason's coaches for planning such a great event.

In 2020, Hart spoke with People about how fast her kids (particularly Mason) were growing up as he was about to take a massive step in his teenage years. "My oldest one is going to get his permit soon ... which I'm freaking out about," she told the outlet at the time. In January 2021, she shared another Instagram post dedicated to Mason as she gushed over him on his 15th birthday while naming "so many things about how great" he is.

Melissa Joan Hart is one proud mama

Melissa Joan Hart is also the proud mama of two other sons, Braydon and Tucker, and as with Mason, they are the apples of her eye. We all know there's the term "girl dad," but it turns out, Hart is the ultimate "boy mom," and she is not afraid to show it. In September 2022, the mother of three shared a sweet Instagram photo with all of her kiddos. In the shot, Hart put her arms around her eldest son, sporting a vibrant red top and matching skirt, while Mason dressed to impress in a blue suit. Her youngest sons, Braydon and Tucker, also dressed for the occasion with white button-ups. Once again, the family resemblance was strong.

In the caption, she gushed over motherhood in honor of National Sons Day. "I never imagined I would be a boy mom, and now I can't imagine my life as anything else," she wrote. "I never realized how suited I was to being around reptiles, rock music, and sweat, but it fits me to a tee." Hart added that the image was the most recent she could find with herself and her three boys.

In 2016, Hart proved that she is all too relatable as she spoke with Us Weekly about raising three kids. "I have a sign in my house that says 'please pardon the mess, my children are making memories,'" she told the outlet, adding that cleaning can come later.
