Did the British singer tie the knot?

On Feb. 21, 2018, Ed Sheeran opened up about his relationship status with his lady love, Cherry Seaborn, and talked about recent rumors that he'd gotten hitched. When asked directly if he was a married man by Lorraine correspondent Dan Wooton at the 2018 BRIT Awards, Sheeran smiled and replied, "No. No, I'm not."

As Nicki Swift had previously reported, Sheeran had sparked rumors that he'd gotten married to Seaborn after he was spotted sporting a ring on his left hand days earlier. 

So... what's up with the ring? Well, Sheeran explained to Wooton that it's an engagement ring.

"I never saw why men didn't wear engagement rings. It's the same commitment either way," said Sheeran, who announced his engagement to Seaborn in late January 2018. "Cherry made it for me herself out of silver clay. I really like it. I haven't told anyone that, either."

In another interview conducted that same night, Sheeran told Sky News, "It's an engagement ring, because I feel like...I don't know," adding, "I feel like it's good to both do things."

When asked if he'd set a wedding date, Sheeran said, "I don't know, but I don't know if I'd tell you." He noted, "It'll be a situation like this where no one knows."

Guess we'll just have to wait to find out more about Sheeran's wedding plans!
