Meghan Markle Opens Up About Bond With Royal Family

How does the former Suits star get along with her future in-laws?

According to Entertainment Tonight, Meghan Markle opened up about the strong bond she's built with the royal family at the inaugural Royal Foundation Forum in London on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018.

The retired actress was joined by fiancé Prince Harry and her future in-laws, Prince William and Kate Middleton, for a discussion about their joint philanthropic efforts. During the couples' first official royal engagement together, they were asked whether disagreements ever crop up in relation to work.

"Oh yes," William joked, with Harry adding, "Healthy disagreements."

He continued, "I think it's really good we've got four different personalities. We've all got that same passion to want to make a difference, but different opinions. I think those opinions work really, really well. Working as family does have its challenges, of course. The fact that everyone's laughing shows that everyone knows exactly what it's like." He then quipped, "We're stuck together for the rest of our lives."

For her part, Markle, who celebrated this past Christmas with the British royals, called their shared bond, "Togetherness at its finest." She went on to talk a bit about wedding planning, saying, "Yeah, I guess we wait a couple months and then we hit the ground running."

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Harry, 33, and Markle, 36, announced their engagement in late November 2017. The cute pair have been together since the fall of 2016, and plan to marry at St. George's Chapel, Windsor Castle on May 19.
