Friends think Thore and Alehat's relationship is too intimate for just being friends
In his discussion with Whitney Way Thore, her ex-boyfriend Lennie Alehat explained that the dynamic of their relationship could be confusing to others. "So Jessica and I talked earlier about how our relationship is kinda— Sometimes people think that maybe we are a little intimate for just friends that work together and stuff," he explained. Thore responded by noting the pair had grown more intimate over the last year, telling Alehat, "Once we reconnected, I think that intimacy that you established already kinda just comes back."
Interestingly enough, Thore had already touched upon the possibility of rekindling her physical connection with Lennie. "If I were not dating the Frenchman, I feel like I might wanna explore physically with Lennie and see if it's different than it was before," Thore admitted in a confessional. Soon after, she had a change of heart. "What am I thinking?" She exclaimed. "I'm an actual insane person. No. We work together. We have a great friendship going."
It wasn't only Thore and Alehat's friends that found the nature of the former couple's relationship confusing. According to Screenrant, fans were under the impression that Thore was leading Alehat on with her actions. "She must pay Lennie well because she's awful to him," one fan wrote in a Reddit discussion thread about the two, adding, "I don't know why else he'd stick around."
Thore says she enjoys feeling taken care of by Alehat
During the Season 10 finale of "My Big Fat Fabulous Life," Whitney Way Thore expressed her gratitude toward her ex-boyfriend Lenne Alehat and all he has done for her. "I love our relationship. I'm so grateful for you, and I'm so appreciative of you and everything you do for me," she explained, adding that she can't experience some feelings with her boyfriend because he is on another continent. However, she admitted she still enjoys the feeling of being taken care of.
Alehat's response? He surprisingly agreed. "Oh no, I love our relationship," he said. "You mean a lot to me, and I'm so happy that I've come back into your life."
Thore is likely leaning on Alehat for support these days. On December 7, the reality star announced that her mother, Barbara Thore, had died from cerebral amyloid angiopathy. Thore wrote on Instagram, "The support from all of you made her feel so loved and encouraged. We are unbelievably thankful that we've been able to share her with you and it is our hope that her memory will continue to be a source of comfort and happiness for the rest of your lives, just as it will be for ours."
