Star Jones Marries Fiance Ricardo Lugo In Cruise Ship Wedding

Former The View co-host Star Jones is a married woman!

E! News reports that the lawyer and TV personality married her fiancé Ricardo Lugo on Sunday, March 25, 2018. The wedding took place on a cruise ship — Royal Caribbean's Anthem of the Seas — in the Bahamas.

According to the celebrity news site, Jones' wedding was part of a several days of celebration. On Saturday, Jones rang in her 56th birthday.

Prior to announcing that she was married, which she later did on Instagram, Jones took to social media to share that the weekend was going to be the best ever. "This is the face of #purejoy & #Happiness," she captioned a video of herself, presumably on the way to the cruise ship.

In the video, Jones, who is all smiles, says, "You know you're really happy when your kid says at lunch, 'Stop smiling. You're going to break your face.' This is the happiest weekend of my entire life."

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Jones got engaged to Lugo in October 2017. Though she remained tight-lipped about her fiancé, Jones told Us Weekly at the time, "He's wonderful," adding, "I'm happy and that's all anybody outside of my family needs to know."

Jones' wedding to Lugo marks the celeb's second marriage. She previously married Al Reynolds in November 2004. They later separated in March 2008.
