Who Is Buying Beverly Hills Star, Jon Grauman?

"Buying Beverly Hills" has given fans a taste of what it's like to work as a top real estate agent in the dreamy Los Angeles location. Of course, part of the show's appeal is getting the chance to see the details of plenty of lavish multi-million dollar homes. At its crux, the Netflix series follows several agents who work at Mauricio Umansky's firm, The Agency, per The Hollywood Reporter. Umansky, who is "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" star Kyle Richards' husband, told the outlet, "It's really exciting that you actually get to see real luxury real estate transactions take place. And I think that's one of the best things about the show is that it actually has real real estate happening, which is awesome."

While some of the agents are just getting their feet on the ground, others have been in the business for years. One of the agents, Jon Grauman, falls under the latter category. The Director Estates Division has tons of expertise that he shares with some of his less experienced co-stars, including new agent Sonika Vaid. So, what else is there to know about Grauman?

In a 2022 interview with Medium, Jon Grauman described his unique career trajectory. Following a stint working in the music industry, he interned at a mortgage company. After facing some challenges regarding the financial crisis, he transitioned to real estate in 2011. While his beginnings were tough, he eventually picked up speed. In 2014, he formed a team with his wife. He shared, "Today we are a group of 60+ people that have sold over $3 billion in real estate." Grauman's clearly passionate about real estate and revealed three aspects of the industry that excite him. He said, "I love the broad spectrum of people I get to meet ... It's exciting to work in an industry with no ceiling ... I love the thrill of the hunt."

Grauman has had his share of success as a real estate agent. According to his bio on The Agency website, he sold more than $230 million in 2019, which earned him a ranking as one of the top realtors in the country. The Los Angeles native was also ranked No. 20 in Los Angeles County by L.A. Business Journal. Not too shabby!

So, what's the tea on Jon Grauman's personal life? Well, Jon's wife, Lauren Grauman, is also a real estate agent, per Distractify. According to the outlet, she started working in the industry in 2006 and now heads The Grauman Team under The Agency.

Lauren and Jon seem to be head over heels in love! In January 2023, Jon took to Instagram to wish his wife a "happy birthday." In the caption, he gushed, "All hail the queen. This woman... this amazing leader, mother, partner, mentor, inspiration, etc etc etc. They broke the mold with this one." Jon's Instagram page also displays photos of the couple's two kids.

Jon also appears to be close with Mauricio Umansky himself, as the two bond over high-end wine and real estate. That's precisely what they talked about in a video for "The BondRE." According to an Instagram post, it seems like the two friends and partners also bond over closing some big real estate deals.
