Body Language Expert Decodes Robyn Brown's Fear Of Approaching Husband Kody - Exclusive

A lot has happened with the Brown family since their hit reality show, "Sister Wives," began airing in 2010. While we've seen the family move to a few different states, recently landing in Flagstaff, Arizona, the past few years have proven to be some of the most challenging for the group. In 2021, Christine Brown announced her decision to leave Kody Brown, and viewers have seen a lot of awkward moments play out in the series.

And it didn't take too long for others to follow suit. Kody revealed on the "Sister Wives: One on One" special in December 2022 that he and his wife Janelle Brown had "separated." Janelle added, "I think if we both really sat down, we'd look at each other and say 'Really?' We've been separated for several months." Meri Brown and Kody also spoke about their marital woes and split on the special, per Us Weekly, stating that Kody had "already made the decision" to separate from her. "He's like, 'I don't even know why you called me Meri,'" she said on the tell-all. "He's like, 'We're not married. We're not acting as married.'"

So, if you are keeping track, that only leaves Kody's fourth wife, Robyn Brown, in the equation, as hhe went from four wives to one in a matter of about one year. So, where does Robyn stand with Kody? And does this mean she wants to change their lifestyle? A body language expert weighs in.

Robyn Brown's body language demonstrates fears for the future

Robyn and Kody Brown discussed the possibility of remaining monogamous In a TLC clip. There, Robyn confessed that her husband "basically said no" to monogamy. The mother of five added that, while she's open to maintaining their polygamous lifestyle, she's also worried because of "how badly this has gone."

Jess Ponce III, body language expert, communication coach, and author of "A.W.E.S.O.M.E.: 7 Keys to Unlock the Speaker Within," spoke exclusively with Nicki Swift about Robyn's response. "Immediately, you notice she is giving serious thought to the question," she said. "She bats her eyes, looks up, and then has a distant gaze as she begins to answer. She is paying careful attention to her words." Ponce added that, since it took Robyn a second to answer the question, she thinks Robyn "doesn't entirely believe" Kody, or she "doesn't want to believe him." She continued, "When pressed if she is willing to approach Kody again, she nervously smiles and admits she is scared. She anxiously brings her hand to her mouth, looks down, and admits how badly this is gone." In conclusion, Robyn wants more wives in the family but is "scared" for it to happen. "But is her fear, or desire not to rock the boat, enough to keep her quiet? My bet is no," Ponce added.

According to People, Robyn has spoken about being "an easy target" and she's also confessed that she doesn't like to "fight" about things, which seems on par with Ponce's evaluation.
