And while the average person will likely never have to contend with how to purchase one of their own, there is a process in place. According to Forbes, each potential client is involved in the customization process, which can be somewhat laborious. "It's a four-year journey, and from time to time it might also be a complicated journey," said Rolls Royce's CEO to Forbes. "It's not always plain sailing...I need a client who understands technically what's possible and what isn't; someone that understands that certain details can change through the engineering process."
