Gigi Hadid, Zayn Malik Spotted Kissing In New York City Following Recent Split

Are Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik back together?

On Sunday, April 29, 2018, the on-and-off couple were spotted kissing in New York City after calling it quits just last month, TMZ reports.

With Malik debuting a new tattoo on his shaved head, and Hadid dressed casually in black with her hair pulled back, the two were allegedly "all over each other," the gossip rag noted.

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Hadid, 23, and Malik, 25, broke up after two years of dating in March 2018. At the time, the exes took to social media to announce they'd decided to amicably go their separate ways.

"Gigi and I had an incredibly meaningful, loving and fun relationship and I have a huge amount of respect and adoration for Gigi as a woman and a friend. She has such an incredible soul," the former One Direction singer tweeted. "I'm grateful to all of our fans for respecting this difficult decision and our privacy at this time. We wish this news would have come from us first. We love you all."

Hadid echoed the Brit's sentiments in her own statement on Twitter, writing, in part, "I'm forever grateful for the love, time and life lessons Z and I shared. I want nothing but the best for him."

While it's unclear at the time of this writing whether the pair have officially rekindled their romance, Malik opened up about their recent split just a couple of weeks ago.

"I was in love and I think that's pretty evident and, yeah, I was aspiring to be in love with someone for the rest of my life and the rest of theirs, as we all do," he said while discussing the inspiration for his new song, "Let Me," during a call-in interview with On Air with Ryan Seacrest. "Things change, we move forward in life, times change but, yeah, that's what I was thinking when I wrote it."

The former couple, who starred together in Malik's "Pillowtalk" music video, first sparked dating rumors in November 2015, before briefly splitting up in June 2016.
