Who Is Dave Coulier's Wife, Melissa Bring?

Dave Coulier has a spouse who likewise maintains a creative career. As reported by Closer Weekly, the "Full House" alum was previously married to Jayne Modean from 1990 to 1992. Following this breakup, Coulier dated Alanis Morissette for a time. In a 2022 "Jim Norton & Sam Roberts" SiriusXM chat, Coulier revealed that he believes himself to be the inspiration behind the singer-songwriter's hit track, "You Oughta Know." (Note: Morissette hasn't confirmed or denied said inspiration, but she has shared her thoughts on Coulier's claims.)

Following their split, Coulier found love again with Melissa Bring. The actor-comedian spoke to Us Weekly in 2014 about being engaged to his significant other, whom he referred to as his "best friend." "Melissa has been my best friend since I met her nine years ago," Coulier said. "I feel like the luckiest man on the planet." The couple then tied the knot in Montana in July 2014, according to People. Several of Coulier's "Full House" colleagues, like John Stamos, Bob Saget, Jeff Franklin, Candace Cameron Bure, and Andrea Barber, were in attendance. Coulier shares a fated love story with Bring, who has a history as an artistic professional.

Melissa Bring is a professional photographer

Dave Coulier's wife, Melissa Bring, has a passion for photography. As her website bio states, Bring is an advertising and portrait photographer whose photo sessions can vary from ad campaigns to portraits of entertainers. Her bio also details that Bring is from Montana, and her interest in photography began when her grandma gave her a camera at the age of 11. From there, she studied photography in Florence, Italy, later working as a photographer in Los Angeles. She then established her own photography and video services company with her brother, which ultimately evolved into her current undertaking, Melissa Coulier Creative.

In a 2021 "Fashioncast" podcast interview, Bring opened up about how she uses her unique talents to reach her full potential as a photographer. "To be the best photographer that I can be is to really fully understand, know myself, and know where I came from and use that as my platform for my work rather than manipulate something that I may not be well-versed in," Bring said. According to Closer Weekly, Bring met Coulier in 2005 while the actor was on a vacation with some buddies of his. Coulier unintentionally tripped Bring, and this initiated a conversation between the duo that kickstarted their enduring romance. Since getting hitched nearly a decade after this serendipitous encounter, the two remain harmonious spouses.

Dave Coulier and Melissa Bring 'laugh a lot' together

Dave Coulier and Melissa Bring are a joyful couple following nearly 10 years of marriage as of this writing. In a 2020 interview with Closer Weekly, Coulier spoke of how he and Bring have stayed a happy pair of spouses through their similar senses of humor. "We laugh a lot. We've been through friends getting married or divorced and babies being born and family members dying. Through all those times, we've found a way to find the silver lining by laughing," Coulier said of himself and Bring.

In addition, Bring shared images of herself and Coulier via Instagram in July 2022 in honor of her and Coulier's anniversary. "The adventures over the past seventeen years have been truly unmatched!" Bring wrote. "I am beyond grateful to have been placed on this earth during the same time as you!! I can not wait to live out the next chapters of our story together." In June of that same year, Coulier called Bring "the rock of [their] family" in an Instagram post celebrating Bring's birthday. "Everyone loves her so much," Coulier said of Bring. "I am a lucky man. Love you."
