Vanderpump Rules: What Happened To Ariana Madix's Brother, Jeremy?

Blood is thicker than water... or any other drink served at Schwartz & Sandy's.

Jeremy Madix recently made headlines again when he entered the group chat surrounding the salacious scandal that is now widely known as "Scandoval." (In case you missed it, Tom Sandoval cheated on Ariana Madix, whom he had been dating for more than nine years and bought a house with, with one of the couple's best friends — Raquel Leviss, aka Rachel Leviss.) As one can imagine, Jeremy wasn't too pleased with the way Tom Sandoval and Raquel — er — Rachel had betrayed his big sis, Ariana. "It's funny to watch people social climb and be soooooooo fake that they're willing to s*** on people that are supposed to be their 'best friend' (a term that gets thrown around very often around here) all just to come up or have some sort of story line," he penned in part in the comments section of a post from James Kennedy that has since been deleted. YIKES!

But aside from being Ariana's biggest supporter and protector, whatever happened to Jeremy? Here's everything we know.

Jeremy Madix saved SUR from a fire

Three's company.

The story goes that Jeremy Madix moved from Melbourne, Florida to Los Angeles and immediately got a job bussing tables at SUR restaurant. During that time, he also crashed at his sister Ariana Madix's shared apartment with Tom Sandoval. "He's out and about all the time. He kind of comes and goes. He stays at friends' houses sometimes and then we travel as well, so he'll have the place to himself," Sandoval told Bravo's The Daily Dish about the living arrangement. "But, yeah, the three of us in that apartment is... it's like the halfway house like in 'The Shawshank Redemption' [where on the wall it says] 'Brooks was here.' It's like a stop that everyone lives at when they first come to L.A.," he joked.

But aside from being Ariana and Sandoval's roomie, Jeremy also became a hero quite literally overnight in June 2017 when he saved Lisa Vanderpump's lucrative SUR restaurant and lounge from a fire. "Jeremy smelled smoke, and he saved the day. Everyone got out safely thank God," Vanderpump later told Radar Online about the harrowing incident. "The fire department came and put it out and we called an electrician. It could have been much worse," she added. PHEW.

Jeremy Madix eventually moved on from SUR

Eventually, however, Jeremy Madix found his own footing in Los Angeles, fled his sister's nest, and moved in with his girlfriend. But make no mistake. In Ariana Madix's eyes, he'll always be her baby brother. "Jerbear, to me he's always gonna be this 11-year-old boy that calls me 'Sissy' and wants me to watch him play baseball in the front yard," she told Bravo's The Daily Dish. "I've always been really protective of him. In elementary school, because he used to get made fun of when he was super little, I left my class, went to the recess of another class to b***h out this bully girl, whatever. You've got to do what you've got to do," she declared.

According to his Instagram account, Jeremy's now the owner of Fortune Films, and co-founder of a licensed luxury brand aptly titled MADIX Brands. In his spare time, he surfs, rides his dirtbike, works out, andddd probably tries to stay as far away from the "Vanderpump Rules" cameras as possible.
