What We Know So Far About RHOBH Newcomer Annemarie Wiley
"The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" fans knew that there was going to be a major cast shake-up for Season 13. Season 12 ended with viewers demanding that longtime cast member Lisa Rinna be outed for the show after her antics — even for Rinna, she'd gone too far. Sure enough, a few months after the reunion, Rinna announced that she would be stepping away from "RHOBH." Season 12 newcomer Diana Jenkins also told fans she wouldn't be returning to the show in order to focus on her pregnancy after dealing with a previous miscarriage.
With two major spots to fill, there has been a lot of speculation as to who would be brought in. Although Bravo has yet to announce the Season 13 cast, Garcelle Beauvais confirmed that filming is underway in an Instagram shot of her with Crystal Minkoff, Dorit Kemsley, Kyle Richards, Sutton Stracke, and Erika Jayne. Us Weekly reported that newcomer Annemarie Wiley was also spotted filming with the "RHOBH" vets. Although it's unclear if she's a "friend" or a full cast member, fans can expect to see her in Season 13. Here's everything to know about the new "RHOBH" star.
Annemarie Wiley is a nurse anesthetist and a philanthropist
Annemarie Wiley is not just a housewife — she has a career as an anesthetist. The newest member of "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" described what she does on the daily in an informative Instagram post. "A Nurse Anesthetist is an advanced practice nurse who administers anesthesia for surgery and other medical procedures. Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) account for approximately half of the anesthesia providers in the United States and are the main providers of anesthesia in rural America," she explained. Annemarie went on to describe the lengthy process it takes to become a CRNA, which includes completing nursing school and a minimum of two years at an ICU as a Registered Nurse, and then 2-3 years at a CRNA school and residency.
When she's not helping her patients, Annemarie works with children to provide them with tools to better their lives. She co-founded Project Transition with her husband, ex-football pro, Marcellus Wiley. According to the website, the organization promises to "strive to educate, enlighten and inspire young people by providing dynamic and existing opportunities for success, while cultivating self-esteem, leadership and respect to build healthier communities." Their programs include mentorship for the youth and helping people build wealth through careers and investments. It's clear that helping children is important to Annemarie, as she is a devoted mom to four kids and often shares fun moments with them on social media.
Annemarie has three young children and an adult step-daughter
Annemarie Wiley and Marcellus Wiley tied the knot in 2014. Together, they share their seven-year-old son Marcellus Jr., four-year-old daughter Ariya, and their youngest daughter Alivia, who is three years old. Annemarie is also step-mom to Marcellus' 24-year-old daughter Morocca, whom he shares with a woman from a previous relationship. The Wiley family celebrated Alivia's third birthday on March 26 with a Peppa Pig-themed party. "Our "Itty Bitty" with the larger than life personality. I am so proud of my ever giggling and singing, silly, fun-loving little Liv Liv! ...You are mommy's little ray of sunshine! I love you beyond words, best friend! Happy 3️⃣rd Birthday, my Alivia Marie!" Annemarie gushed on Instagram. Their son, whom they call MJ, seems to be following in his father's footsteps. Annemarie shared a video of MJ on the football field and joked, "He get it from his mama."
Fitness is a big part of Annemarie's life and she is hoping to pass it on to her kids. She posted a video of Ariya running on a treadmill and wrote, "Parents are children's first Role Models! When children see their parents enjoying exercising diligently and regularly they naturally become curious, interested, and willing to try. It becomes a family habit and eventually, they pick it up on their own and they exercise by themselves." A source already told People that Annemarie is a "great fit" for "RHOBH" and fans can't wait to meet her in Season 13.
