Jason Biggs' Wife Jenny Mollen Is An Actor Herself (And More)

Jason Biggs and wife Jenny Mollen had one of the sweetest meet-cutes in Hollywood. The two met in 2007 while filming the movie "My Best Friend's Girl" and while Biggs was already known for being a leading man, it was Mollen who got him the part in the comedy. In an interview with Access Hollywood, she shared, "The producer was trying to sleep with my sister so he granted me access to the audition tapes and he said, 'We're choosing between two guys — one is this other actor I didn't know and one is Jason Biggs." Initially Mollen didn't want Biggs cast because he was "already famous" and recommended the unknown actor. But, after watching Biggs' audition, Mollen changed her mind and told the producer, "I'm blown away. Jason Biggs is a really good actor. You have to give it to him ... and I might be in love with him."

While Biggs had a starring role in "My Best Friend's Girl," Mollen's part was much smaller. However, she has starred in many notable films and television shows — and also has a screenwriting credit under her belt.

Jenny Mollen wrote a short film starring Jason Biggs

Jenny Mollen has proven her acting chops with her roles in popular shows such as "Angel" and "Viva Laughlin," but she also showed her writing skills with her 2009 short film "Kidnapping Caitlynn," starring herself and Jason Biggs. Mollen had the idea for the dark comedy about kidnapping an ex's new girlfriend after joking about the real-life possibility with Biggs. "Jason and I, when we first met, we were doing a movie together and I said, 'You know, if I knew that I was going to get serious about somebody so fast, I would have kept both of my dogs from the past relationship' ... and I would always joke, 'Let's take her back. Let's just go kidnap her!'" she told Getty Images Entertainment Video. She explained that Biggs added, "Yeah, and for s***s and giggles, let's just take his new girlfriend, too."

In 2016, Mollen and Biggs starred together as a married couple in yet another film, "Amateur Night." On working with her husband, Mollen joked with Extra, "It was fun doing this with Jason because I feel like our son will always have this, like something to go in the time capsule of a time when we actually loved each other." On a more serious note, she added, "I loved just watching him improvise." Biggs clearly isn't the only funny one in the family and Mollen's bestselling memoirs prove just how hilarious she is.

Jenny Mollen is a New York Times bestselling author

Not only is Jenny Mollen an accomplished actor, but she is also a talented author. The "Crash" star wrote "I Like You Just the Way I Am" in 2014, which includes outrageous stories about her past. "I Like You Just the Way I Am" was made into a television series in 2016, lasting one season, and starred Mollen and Jason Biggs as themselves. "It was amazing because I was his boss, so for me, it was the best experience of my life because I was in charge of him completely. He had to do whatever I wanted," Mollen told People. Mollen dropped her second memoir, "Live Fast Die Hot," in 2017. Like her first book, it includes a collection of stories about her life as a mother to her and Biggs' first son, Sid.

Mollen switched genres and debuted her first novel, "City of Likes," in 2022, which centers around a mom trying to make it in New York City with her family. We may be seeing the on-screen version in the near future, as the publisher Nacelle Company also has the film and television rights, per Deadline. "I'm thrilled to partner with Nacelle ... This book is by far my most personal. And its message is one that I cannot wait to share," Mollen stated. While she has joked that Biggs is more famous than her, Mollen proves to be just as talented as her husband.
