NCIS: Los Angeles Star Linda Hunt Hospitalized After Car Crash

Linda Hunt of NCIS: Los Angeles fame was taken to the hospital following a serious accident.

TMZ reports that Hunt, who plays Hetty Lange on the popular CBS crime drama, was involved in a car crash on Monday, July 2, 2018. According to the gossip rag, Hunt was driving a black BMW SUV and attempted to make a left turn. The 73-year-old then allegedly hit a sedan. That vehicle then struck a Honda SUV.

After the accident, Hunt was said to have been "visibly shaken," and she was escorted to the sidewalk by nearby witnesses who helped her to a lawn chair. Once they arrived on the scene, EMTs then examined Hunt and decided that she needed to be treated at the hospital.

The drivers of the other vehicles involved in the wreck reportedly sustained minor injuries and were not hospitalized.

TMZ notes that police are investigating the cause of the accident.

Unfortunately, Hunt is not the only celebrity to have been involved in a serious car crash in recent days. As Nicki Swift previously reported, Melyssa Ford, a former star of Bravo's Blood, Sweat & Heels, was involved in an accident that left her with a skull fracture, a concussion, and bleeding in her brain, as well as cuts and bruises. At the time of this writing, she is under observation at a Los Angeles hospital. A rep for Ford shared that the TV personality is "lucky to be alive."
