Are Chrishell Stause And G Flip Actually Married?

After Chrishell Stause's very messy divorce from Justin Hartley and a subsequent breakup with her "Selling Sunset" co-star/boss Jason Oppenheim, Stause has finally found love with Australian singer, G Flip. The two first met on the set of G Flip's music video for "Get Me Outta Here," and then again at a Halloween party afterward. At the time, they were with their respective partners but after finding themselves single, Stause and G Flip eventually formed a budding romance.

Stause confirmed their relationship during the "Selling Sunset" Season 5 reunion. "I recently have been spending a lot of time with someone that's very important to me. Their name is G Flip. They're nonbinary, so they go by they/them," the reality star announced. The following May, a source told People that the couple was taking a big step and shared, "Chrishell moved them in." Since then, Stause and G Flip have taken their whirlwind romance even further with a surprise wedding announcement. But are the nuptials official?

Chrishell Stause and G Flip aren't married on paper

On May 10, Chrishell Stause teased fans of a secret marriage to G Flip by posting a carousel of pictures on Instagram with the last one of them standing in front of an altar. "Love doesn't always go as planned ... Sometimes it's immeasurably better," she wrote. "My darling, I adore and love you with all my heart. These are the sweetest words and this is cutest little edit. You make me so happy," G Flip replied. Their ceremony was an intimate one, with Stause telling People, "It was a very small group there with us and some friends and family watching on a live stream."

Despite their very happy and impromptu wedding, TMZ reported that Stause and G Flip have not filed any marriage papers in Nevada where they got hitched, so their union is not legally binding. Perhaps they're waiting for their second ceremony, which a source told the outlet will happen sometime in the future. Stause remained tight-lipped on when the ceremony took place, but told ET that it was "a little bit ago." She added, "It just really meant a lot for us. And it was ... the best day of all time. I just feel like, some of those things you don't want to hear people's opinions on. It was perfect. It was amazing." Stause shared that her wedding with G Flip was quirky and included an Elvis impersonator, and she later revealed that their engagement was just as unconventional.

Chrishell Stause and G Flip almost forgot to get engaged before their ceremony

Whether or not their marriage is legal, Chrishell Stause can't stop gushing about her new wife. "They are the most special, amazing, human being ever," she stated on Access Hollywood. When asked about her and G Flip's proposal, Stause shared, "It's not what people would expect. We did everything untraditional ... Everything down to having the paper and all of these things that are really stressful ... I've done that before." She revealed that they were on the way to Las Vegas when they realized they never actually got engaged. "And so, it happened on takeoff on the way to Vegas," the realtor added.

Stause, who was previously in a relationship with Jason Oppenheim, ended things because they weren't on the same page when it came to having kids. However, she has been open about her and G Flip's plans to become parents and told Oppenheim in "Selling Sunset" Season 6, "With G I feel like that pressure is off. When we want to do it, we want to adopt" (via Today). It looks as if Stause has veered away from her idea of traditional marriage and family, and she seems all the happier for it.
