What Taylor Lautner's Wife Taylor Dome Really Does For A Living

Taylor Lautner has found his other half – literally. Lautner's wife's name just so happens to be Taylor Dome which technically makes them both Taylor Lautner. Seems like a match made in heaven!

According to People, the couple first crossed paths in 2018 while Lautner took a break from acting. Fate was definitely on their side, and so was Lautner's sister, who introduced Dome to the "Twilight" actor. "My sister Makena [Moore] actually introduced us," he shared. She called me and said, 'Dude, I found your future wife. You need to meet this girl.' And the rest is history." Lautner's sister wasn't wrong about the actor finding his wife because, in 2021, he popped the question to Dome, per Instagram.

Just a year after getting down on one knee, Lautner and Dome tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony in California. Dome shared her thoughts on marrying the famous actor. "We're just excited to be husband and wife," she revealed. "The wedding day was so special but we both very much believe that it's not just about that one day, it's about a lifetime together. We're excited to start forever. We are best friends." The couple has continued to be by each other's side since tying the knot, and we have gotten to learn a little more about Lautner's new wife and what she does.

Taylor Dome is a registered nurse

Taylor Lautner found himself a keeper. Not only is Taylor Dome stunning, but she's also incredibly smart. According to Life & Style, Dome attended College of the Canyons and graduated as a registered nurse in 2019. Dome shared a video from her graduation online. "Yesterday was the end to a chapter in my life which has been the most challenging yet so rewarding," she captioned the post. "Not only have I grown as a nurse but as a young woman...Nursing has become one of my biggest passions and I can't wait to start working and saving lives!"

Dome became a nurse during a critical time. The pandemic hit in 2020, the same year she started working as a cardiac nurse in Los Angeles, according to Dome's blog, Lemons By Tay. Dome was thrown into the healthcare world as she and other nurses took on the second surge of a disease that no one was familiar with. She recalled, "The unit I was on became a COVID unit. At its peak in January [2021], my unit looked and felt like a war zone." The pandemic was tough on nurses as they fought to bring patients back to health, and Dome experienced this firsthand. "I had to keep five patients who were on the edge of life and death alive all by myself," she said. Those stages of the pandemic took a toll on Dome's mental health, which inspired her to make another impactful move.

Taylor Dome started her own non-profit organization

Taylor Dome is no doubt a girl boss. She went from nursing to starting her own blog and non-profit organization to focus on mental health. During her time as a nurse during the pandemic, Dome realized how essential it was to protect her own mental health. This inspired her to launch her Lemons by Tay website and the Lemons Foundation to help those struggling with mental health issues. She launched the site in January 2022. "Introducing my self-care & mental health website, blog, and resource," Dome shared on Instagram. "I will be sharing regularly about a variety of topics ... from different mental health exercises & tips that I have found to be beneficial, to self-care practices & products that I love, to even providing resources for those looking for a little extra help."

Although Lemons by Tay is just getting its start, Dome is not planning on slowing down. She launched the podcast, "The Squeeze," alongside the website in 2023. The podcast's Instagram page explained there would be discussions with "celebrity and expert guests to further the conversation surrounding mental wellness." Dome has had several celebrity guests on her podcast, including her supportive husband and actor, Taylor Lautner. Lautner was featured on the show's first episode, and since then, he has co-hosted the show alongside his wife as they take on important mental health conversations. So from nursing to taking charge of her non-profit, Dome has her hands full.
