Singer Teddy Geiger, Actress Emily Hampshire Are Engaged

Congratulations are in order for singer-songwriter Teddy Geiger and Schitt's Creek star Emily Hampshire!

On Friday, Nov. 9, 2018, the "For You I Will (Confidence)" hitmaker took to Instagram to announce that the happy couple are engaged.

"I love this woman so much she treats me like a lil princess and makes me laugh harder than anyone," Geiger wrote to her 108,000 followers, captioning a sweet snapshot of the newly engaged pair cuddling together. "I am so f**king happy to wake up next to her every morning and fall asleep next to her every night and take care of our lil B.B. stumbs together."

Later posting a slideshow of photos of herself showing off her gorgeous engagement ring, she added, "Which is why... When she asked me if I wanted to spend the rest of our lives together I said... YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES YES INFINITE YES I love u @emilyhampshire."

For her part, Hampshire, whom readers may recognize from her role as Stevie Budd on the popular Canadian sitcom, posted a sweet series of pics of her new fiancée. Alongside heart-eyes, engagement ring, and heart emojis, the actress wrote, "#shesaidyes ...& she cried, then she made a video, then she posted it on insta and was glad she got her nails done today. My millennial girlfriend is now my millennial #fiance & I feel like the luckiest girl in the world."

As Nicki Swift previously reported, Geiger, 30, and Hampshire, 37, publicly confirmed their relationship with a series of sweet social media posts in late August 2018, in which each referred to the other as their girlfriend. As far as we know, their romance marks Geiger's first relationship since she announced her gender transition in October 2017. While it's unknown when exactly the two became an item, E! News reports that the cute pair headed to Tuscany, Italy over the summer for a romantic getaway.

These two aren't the only celeb pairing to share major relationship news in recent weeks. Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald star Zoë Kravitz revealed in her November 2018 cover story interview with Rolling Stone that she and her longtime boyfriend, Nocturnal Animals actor Karl Glusman, secretly got engaged back in February of this year. Meanwhile, pop star Lady Gaga finally confirmed her engagement to fiancé Christian Carino following nearly a year of speculation while speaking at Elle's 25th Annual Women in Hollywood Celebration in mid-October.

Congrats to Geiger and Hampshire on their engagement news!
