Our Body Language Expert Saw The Trump-Bondi Fallout Coming A Mile Away

Uh-oh. There's trouble in MAGA land (again). President Donald Trump is gradually turning against his most loyal allies in a not-so-shocking development, just as we all knew he would eventually. After President Trump axed Kristi Noem and subsequently threatened to fire his White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, the divisive politician turned his attention to his Attorney General. Pam Bondi has officially joined the MAGA has-been club with Noem after being removed from her seat at the Department of Justice, as Trump confirmed on Truth Social

"Pam Bondi is a Great American Patriot and a loyal friend, who faithfully served as my Attorney General over the past year," he noted. "We love Pam, and she will be transitioning to a much needed and important new job in the private sector, to be announced at a date in the near future." The dismissal came following months of tension between them over the DOJ's handling of the Epstein files and Bondi's failure to act on his demands to prosecute his opponents. In January, sources disclosed to the Wall Street Journal that Trump was growing frustrated with his AG and saw her as "weak and an ineffective enforcer of his agenda" (so much for loyalty).

As it turns out, though, Nicole Moore, our resident body language expert, saw this breakup coming from a mile away, in her February observation of Trump and Bondi's body language. "Although he introduced her with positive words, he had a flat, non-smiling face when introducing her and he sucked in air right after," she pointed out in clips from an October 2025 White House roundtable event. Moreover, "Trump appeared to be zoning out for a large part of Bondi's speech [...] [It's] clear that Trump may not be entirely pleased with Bondi at the moment."

Pam Bondi reportedly begged Trump to let her stay

In February 2026, Nicole Moore also noticed that Pam Bondi was trying to get back into President Donald Trump's good graces with her body language. As the body language expert exclusively told Nicki Swift, in her analysis, "[S]he pitched her body forward and reached her arm out to him [...] almost like she wanted to make sure he was pleased with the portrait." You could tell the attorney general was desperate for his approval but her boss wasn't reciprocating. According to Moore, "He's not exactly giving her the emotional connection she seems to be craving from him."

Unfortunately, her interpretation proved correct. An insider divulged to the Daily Mail that Bondi was upset and even tried to persuade Trump to give her a second chance. She was fired just before the controversial leader gave his remarks on the ongoing situation in Iran. Bondi pleaded her case, but there was no changing Trump's mind. With her gone, the DOJ's Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche will take over as the acting AG in the meantime. Meanwhile, Bondi, who has flushed her credibility down the drain, seems to have accepted her fate and is stepping down gracefully.

She released a statement on social media addressing her dismissal. "Over the next month I will be working tirelessly to transition the office of Attorney General to the amazing Todd Blanche before moving to an important private sector role I am thrilled about," she wrote on X, formerly known as Twitter. Her faith in Trump remains unchanged too, with Bondi adding, "I remain eternally grateful for the trust that President Trump placed in me to Make America Safe Again."
